Victory Christian Center - Charlotte
CHURCH HISTORY

In July of 1979 while pastoring Faith C.M.E. Church in Charlotte, God informed Pastor Robyn Gool and his wife, Marilyn, that their ministry would take a new direction. In obedience to God, Pastor Gool informed Bishop Linsey, who was presiding over the Carolina Conference of the C.M.E. Church at that time. After visiting with Pastor Gool and hearing the things God had placed in his heart, Bishop Linsey released him with honor. Shortly afterwards, Victory Christian Center was established. On July 27, 1980, the first service was held in a warehouse 11 miles outside Charlotte with 64 people in attendance.
