For the Lord will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the emptiers have emptied them out and ruined their vine branches.
Zephaniah 3:9 NKJV
“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him with one accord.
These promises of restoration that God made to Israel were fulfilled thousands of years later showing that no matter how long it takes, God’s Word will be manifested. As the psalmist said in Psalm 119:89, God’s Word is settled in Heaven forever. If He said it there will be a performance of His Word. Though it may take some time it will come to pass. Some of our forefathers died while waiting for some of the promises of God but their prayers and faith continued to work even after they had gone to the other side. Perhaps they will find out in Heaven what has taken place on earth that they looked to see but left before it came to pass.
