The Unseen Realm Part 15

Job 27:13, 16-17 NKJV

“This is the portion of a wicked man with God,
And the heritage of oppressors, received from the Almighty:

Though he heaps up silver like dust, and piles up clothing like clay— he may pile it up, but the just will wear it, and the innocent will divide the silver.

The Lord said in Job 42:7 that Job said things about God that were right. Job did not understand all that was going on with his trials and said some things out of his ignorance. However, there were things he knew about God that were correct. I believe that in Job 27 he had a revelation of how things work in the unseen realm. God orchestrates things behind the scenes that causes an interesting result. Wicked people’s wealth end up in the hands of just or righteous persons. How does that happen? Automatically? No. In order for us to experience supernatural wealth transfer, we must operate in the unseen realm where it begins. Four lepers were sitting at the entrance of a city waiting on death from starvation when a discussion arose (2 Kings 7). If they went to the city there was a famine there – no chance of survival. If they went to the camp of the enemy, they could die but they could also survive if the Syrians decided to feed them and spare their lives. So they decided to take a chance and go into the unseen realm. There was certainty in the city – death. There was uncertainty in the enemy’s camp – maybe death or maybe life. They went to the enemy’s camp and found it empty, and ate and drank and took some of the wealth left behind. God had performed a miracle behind the scenes, in the realm of the unseen to cause the enemy to leave the spoils behind. The lepers went into the unseen realm and partook of the miracle and shared it with others. I wonder how many times we have failed to experience miracles in the area of wealth because we refused to say anything or act in any way that did not make sense to our natural minds. We refused to step out in faith and obey God. Let us get out of our comfort zone and begin to trust God on a higher level and see what is out there that we have yet to experience.

The Unseen Realm Part 14

Matthew 17:17-18 NKJV

Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

Jesus was annoyed that His disciples did not cast out a devil that was tormenting a child. Could it have been that they were impressed by the manifestations of the spirit? Did it seem like this devil might have been too powerful? Inability to overcome a demon is not due to lack of power or authority, it comes from walking in the seen realm and allowing the enemy to impress us with his “power.” We have to make a conscious effort to stay in the realm of the unseen and see with our spiritual eyes that our God who lives in us is greater, and therefore we are more powerful than any demon we encounter. When the disciples later asked Jesus what their problem was, Jesus told them it was unbelief that cannot go away without prayer and fasting. When the works of darkness are overwhelming us, and we feel powerless to respond, we need to spend time in prayer. Some fasting may be required also to help us focus on the unseen. We can also feed our spirits more of the Word of God. We should never settle for being intimidated by the devil. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

The Unseen Realm Part 13

Matthew 17:27 NKJV

Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you."

Jesus did not agree with some of the things that were going on politically. However, He did not want to pick a fight over what was a simple thing to solve. He went to the unseen realm and contacted resources to take care of the tax that was asked of Him and Peter. God cares about everything that concerns us - even distractions that need to be eliminated. He always makes the miraculous possible to solve our problems.

The Unseen Realm Part 12

Ephesians 5:21 Amplified Version

being subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Walking in the realm of the unseen enables us to be obedient when it seems difficult – when it requires humility. Everyone has a role to play in the Body of Christ, in the home, in the church, and all the various institutions. God is a God of order and Christ has designed the order for the Church – giving each one grace to function in their roles. We must know our roles in everything we are a part of and submit to those who are responsible in each given situation. In the home, wives are responsible for certain things and husbands need to submit to them in those situations to allow them to fulfill their responsibilities. Even though the husband is the head of the house as far as his position goes, there are times he needs to submit to his wife. Humility will allow us to submit when we need to. This affects our ability to walk in the unseen realm of God. It helps us trust God to take care of everything that concerns us even when we have to allow Him to work through someone we think is not as smart as we are.

The Unseen Realm Part 11

Ephesians 2:2 NKJV

in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

All people, saved or unsaved interact with the unseen world. Paul told the Ephesian church that there was an evil spirit at work in the sons of disobedience. It is important for us to realize that sinners are unaware most of the time that their actions are influenced by the unseen realm. Isn't it interesting how people's behavior changes after they exit the kingdom of darkness? It is because they come out from under the influence of demonic forces in the unseen realm. As believers in Christ, we must be careful not to deal with evil spirits who are attacking us through human bodies as if we are dealing with physical beings. We attack the spirits in the spirit realm with spiritual weapons, while loving the human being who is being used by devils, many times unaware. It works the same way for Christians who allow the forces of darkness to influence their behavior. We must forgive them, pray for them and forbid the devil to use them against us or vice versa.

The Unseen Realm Part 10

Ephesians 3:3-6 NKJV

how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

Paul and others received revelation of the mystery of the Gentiles who received the gospel becoming fellow heirs with the Jews, partaking of the Abrahamic covenant through Christ. This revelation was in the Old Testament but was hidden from those who read it. The original apostles were shown this mystery by the Holy Spirit. There can be things hidden in plain sight because the understanding has to be received from the unseen realm. When we receive revelation from the unseen realm, it does not contradict the Word, it reveals it. We must go beyond the routine of religion and seek the Lord with our hearts on a more desperate level, or we will remain in shallow water. We may have read something a dozen times before, but as we press in for more from God, understanding from the unseen realm will come off the pages and change us.
