Deuteronomy 33:1-3 NKJV
Now this is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death. And he said: “The Lord came from Sinai, and dawned on them from Seir. He shone forth from Mount Paran and He came with ten thousands of saints from His right hand came a fiery law for them. Yes, He loves the people. All His saints are in Your hand. They sit down at Your feet. Everyone receives Your words.
What a beautiful illustration in this blessing that Moses spoke to Israel before his departure! He told them that God loved His people and all His saints are in His hand. He also said that the saints sit at His feet and receive His words. What a privilege it is to be able to sit at God’s feet and receive His words. His Word is alive and powerful. It is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It is life to us and health to all our flesh. It is not just ink on paper or poetic expressions. It is the living Word of God, Most High. Thank God for loving us so much that He blesses us with the ability to receive from Him continually through His Word.
