Psalm 119:64 NKJV
The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy. Teach me your statutes.
Why is it important to know that the earth is filled with God's mercy? We need to know that wherever we go, regardless of whether we are in the midst of heathen, good or wicked men, God's mercy is present to save, heal and deliver. We cannot hesitate to reach out with God's love to anyone based on our judgment of his or her worthiness. Jesus said in John 6:37 (NKJV), "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." The condition for acceptance by Jesus was only one thing - coming to Him. No matter how "good" or "evil" people are, they all must do the same thing to be accepted by Jesus - come to Him. All are welcome, because no matter where we find ourselves in the earth, the mercy of God is present.
