Revelation 1:4-6 NKJV

John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Look at what the love of Christ did for us! When we were sinners and unworthy of His blessings, He washed us in His blood and made us kings and priests to God the Father. He held nothing against us, but separated us from all our sins. Then He elevated us to a royal status and made us ministers to God. Are we walking out the roles He gave us? We should conduct ourselves like royalty - not in a natural sense but in a spiritual sense. We should carry ourselves with dignity in the spirit world and refuse to be subjected to those beings Jesus put under our authority. He has given us authority over all the power of our spiritual enemy. We should expect spiritual bodyguards and servants like natural royalty have. God has given His angels a charge concerning us. They are sent to minister for us - to assist us in this earth. Our priestly role allows us to participate in intercession, praise and worship. We should take advantage of that assignment
daily. It should be our joy to minister to the One who saved us by His grace because He loved us so much.
