Fourteen VCCS students had the honor of attending the Douglass Leadership Institute (DLI) Regional Conference on Friday, November 3rd in Fort Mill, SC. DLI exists to educate, equip, and empower faith-based leaders to embrace and apply biblical principles to life and in the marketplace. VCCS students participated in workshop sessions addressing Prolife, Biblical Justice, and Standing in the Face of Culture. Several presenters addressed them as they spoke, encouraging them to be the change for their generation. One presenter took the time to specifically pray for them. One VCCS alumnus won an entrepreneurship prize! VCCS is eternally grateful to Bishop Dean B. Nelson and Mr. Kevrick McKain for inviting us and so graciously including us in this event. God's continued blessings to this amazing work.
