“Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:13 AMP
God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Take the time daily to pray in the spirit to stir up your spirit man. Seek God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Only Jesus can quench our soul’s thirst. #soulsthirst #mattersoftheheart #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory
Nehemiah and his men were busy at work rebuilding the walls to protect Jerusalem when the regular troublemakers Sanballat, Tobiah and their gang showed up trying to distract them from their assignment. Oftentimes, it’s like that in our daily lives: God may reveal instructions and your purpose to you for you to fulfill the vision that He’s assigned you to be busy on [whether it appears to be on a large or small scale], and the enemy will try to send distractions your way to get you off course or to cause you to abandon the vision all together. Commit today to have razor focus on what God has assigned to you. Take on the same attitude that Nehemiah and his men had: “why should the work stop while I leave to come down to meet you?” Don’t come down to the enemies level. The work God has called you to is much too important. Stay focused on what God has called you to.

“The wicked flee when no one pursues them, But the righteous are as bold as a lion.” -Proverbs 28:1 AMP
We can draw our strength from God spiritually and sometimes it can manifest physically. We have the privilege of His boldness operating on the inside of us so that we can we can represent Him properly and share His love with the world. May we rest in the authority and power that we have through the power of His Son Jesus. #boldness #righteous #strength #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory
Have a need today? Our God is Jehovah Jireh – our Provider. He not only desires to supply our every need physically, but also any other needs we may have emotionally, financially, spiritually and otherwise. He is all that we need. Just remember to thank Him for what He’s already done in your life and give any care, concern or material need that you have to Him. He’s got you.

“And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].” -Philippians 4:7 AMP
The peace that God gives is far beyond this world’s understanding. It gives peace to and protects our hearts and minds in the midst of times when everything around us may seem unstable. It literally “stands guard” to the circumstance around us. No matter what is going on in your life right now – good or bad – rest assured that you can find peace, direction, and wisdom in your Father. He loves you, and He is more than able to handle the affairs of your life. #peace rest #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory
“The mouth of the righteous flows with [skillful and godly] wisdom, But the perverted tongue will be cut out. The lips of the righteous know (speak) what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked knows (speaks) what is perverted (twisted).” - Proverbs 10:32 AMP .
May the wisdom of God flow from our lips today. God please put a watch over our mouths (Psalm 141:3) and show us how to answer every man. Thank you in advance for showing us how to handle every situation that comes our way today so that we can better represent you as your ambassador. .

While happiness is literally a human emotion that can vary from day to day, minute to minute, the joy of the Lord, just like our Father God, is unbothered by the circumstance of this world or our lives. The joy that we get from God and through honoring Him with our lives is truly a gift. The more time we stay in His presence, the more joy we are filled with (in His presence is fullness of joy). Take the time today to fill up on His joy and to continue to meditate on His Word. . #joy #happiness #unbothered #biblestudy #dailydevotional #scripture #verseoftheday #vcccharlotte #iamvictory
"Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful." -Colossians 3:12-15 NLT

As you stir out of bed and move towards the closet this morning to pick out your attire for the day, be sure to reflect in the Mirror of God’s Word to see how your spiritual attire is looking. Are you clothed with mercy, kindness, humility? Are you clothed with love? The more we allow God to develop us and the fruits of the spirit to grow in our lives, the more we will become like Him. Our hearts and minds will be at peace and we will see others through His loving eyes. God has chosen you as His own. Walk in love with those around you and trust that God will empower you to do so as you become more like Him.

God's faithfulness is UNDENIABLE! Even when we miss the mark or when we’re disappointed by the failures of others or even ourselves, we can rest assured that God’s faithfulness to us will never change. Take the time today to reflect today on God’s faithfulness both in the examples we see in the Word of God and in your personal life. Think on a time that God gave you a way out when it seemed like there was no other solution. It will help to bring perspective to your present situation, strengthen your faith and bring joy just thinking on His love for you...like His faithfulness, it’s undeniable!

"Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you. And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” -2 Corinthians 6:17-18 NLT
As His children, God has called us to come out of the world, its ways and customs and to instead come to and embrace Him. Just like any other good father, He loves us and wants the best for us. He has called us to live a life of holiness and through that lifestyle, we not only honor Him but we distinguish ourselves to the world that we are His children and belong to Him. Not only do we honor God in our physical bodies, but in our conversation, our daily habits and our thoughts. Commit today to let your light shine and to honor your Father in both your deeds and conversations so that the lost might know Him and be drawn to Him.

Oftentimes, the normal response to dealing with trials and circumstances in life is to complain or to become discouraged, but God instructs us through His Word to not only grateful but to "continually" give thanks to God. That would imply that His desire is for us to make it a way of life. So make the commitment today to have a grateful heart. Consciously note things to be grateful for. Gratefulness not only pleases God, but it will remind you of His faithfulness and open your eyes to new perspective and opportunities.

Regardless of what you are going through or where you find yourself today…regardless of how you "feel" this morning, find solace and comfort in the fact that unlike our emotions and the circumstances around us, God's love for us is UNCHANGING. Nothing can separate us from it. He is on your side. If you've fallen, allow Him to help you and pick yourself back up. If you just don't "feel" love, speak to your emotions and selah (ponder, think about) the fact that God spared nothing BECAUSE OF His love. You have nothing to fear.

"But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness." -James 3:17
True wisdom comes from God. May godly wisdom and the fruit of the spirit bear witness in our lives so that we are better representatives of Christ in how we interact with and allow the love of God to operate in our lives towards others. Thank you Lord for loving us enough to give us your wisdom and for the privilege of representing you here on earth!

Like Paul, let us commit to being servants and ambassadors of Christ. Regardless of whether you are accepted by man, find joy and comfort that the Creator of the universe has approved you and called you His own. As you represent Him and commit to obeying His will and directions for your life, He will give you the peace, favor and comfort that you need.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." -Proverbs 3:5-6, NLT
Oftentimes, we can have the tendency to rely on our own intellect when making decisions, but the Word of God encourages us to not depend on our own understanding and to seek God's guidance in our decision making. So trust God for wisdom with making that big decision you need to make. He can provide you with divine insight and revelation that your intellect was not privy to. He wants the very best for you and desires to help you and guide you. Accept His loving help.
