“You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.” -Psalm 119:114 AMP

We can run to God for protection both in the physical and spiritual realm. A shield is strong and impenetrable just like our Father. He will protect you from any danger seen or unseen; He will keep you from the wiles of the enemy. Rest today knowing that there is safety in His arms and regardless of any circumstance that you may be experiencing today, He is more than able to keep you from any harm; and the peace (John 14:27) that He also provides in the process is unbothered by the “storms” of life, so rest. #protection #hidingplace #dailydevotion #vcccharlotte

📖🙏🏼 Outside of your verbalizing it, would someone be able to identify you as a child of God? The agape love of God is one of the most distinguishing factors between Christianity and other religions. God’s love was so pure and strong towards us, He gave up His prized possession - His only begotten Son Jesus - for us. As believers, we should be sharing our faith, but others should be able to recognize 'Whose' you are by your love walk. Do you really know your “Father” God? Jesus tells us that if we do not love others, we don’t truly know Him because God IS love. He said that our love for one another will actually show the world that we are indeed God's children.

We have the privilege of being in the family of God, but be sure that you are constantly doing introspection to ensure that what is closest to your Father’s heart is close to yours. The salvation of the lost man or woman is closest to God's heart, so that should be what is closest to ours. He doesn’t judge others but looks on them compassionately and desires for them to be free from any strongholds in their lives, so we should truly desire that for others too. Rest in His love for you but also pray for the desire for your heart to mirror His. If surgery is needed so that this can be true, God is more than able and willing to perform that as well…just ask Him. He loves you, wants the best for you and we should desire to please Him in all that we do, say and even think in our hearts. Have a blessed day! #dailydevotion #loveofGod #childofGod #agapelove #vcccharlotte

"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations." - Psalm 100:4-5 AMPC

As you prefer to prepare to “enter in” this morning, be sure to open up your mouth and offer up a genuine thanks to Him for mercy and kindness to you. We’ve been offered the greatest gift (our salvation) through God’s Son and His faithfulness to us is unending!Exalt Him and bless His name for His love and patience with you every step of the way. Gratitude should be a heart state that is consistent because of God’s continuous demonstration of love towards us (Lamentations 3:23); there’s no room for selfishness, ungratefulness and a lack of patience with others when our hearts are constantly reflecting on all He has done for us. If need be, ask Him to give you a new heart (Psalm 51:10). Rest in HIs love for you today and be sure to take the time to express to Him how grateful you are for it!

"When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life." Titus 3:5-7 NLT

Good morning and HAPPY SATURDAY to you. As you wake up today, be sure to reflect on the mercy of God that He clearly demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. It’s nothing that we did in and of ourselves, but through our salvation in Jesus, we have been justified in God’s eyes. Not only do we have the gift of eternal life, but we have the benefit of having an actual relationship with Him and the privilege of receiving direction and comfort through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. Don’t take the “perks” of that relationship for granted. God’s love for you is profound (John 15:13), and He desires for you to live victoriously in life. Just trust Him for direction and favor and be sure to give Him the glory every step of the way.

"The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” -Psalm 37:23 NLT

When we accept God’s gift of salvation to us and fully surrender our lives to Him and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we position God to be able to lead our steps and direct our lives. We are His responsibility, and there is no detail to small or insignificant to Him. He has a unique purpose for your life and just like the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5), He desires to set you apart for His use. Don’t waste any more time worrying about the affairs of your life; God’s got you and He’s sent the Holy Spirit - your Helper (John 14:26) - to help guide you every step of the way. Rest in Him and in His love for you; listen to your spirit man and trust His guidance in the affairs of your life.

"Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving." -Psalm 69:30 NLT

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your loved ones today from Victory!! Thanksgiving is defined as: a public acknowledgment or celebration of divine goodness; the act of giving thanks; a prayer expressing gratitude (Merriam Dictionary). Thanksgiving is an action; it’s recognizing the many reasons we have to be grateful. For the believer, it should be a daily mindset. We have so much to be grateful for: love, joy, peace, favor and more importantly, we have the promise of eternal salvation. If nothing else, you have a reason to be eternally grateful and to show God by honoring, sharing His love and properly representing Him everyday. We love you and thank God for you today.

“Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:13 AMP

God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Take the time daily to pray in the spirit to stir up your spirit man. Seek God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Only Jesus can quench our soul’s thirst. #soulsthirst #mattersoftheheart #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory

Nehemiah and his men were busy at work rebuilding the walls to protect Jerusalem when the regular troublemakers Sanballat, Tobiah and their gang showed up trying to distract them from their assignment. Oftentimes, it’s like that in our daily lives: God may reveal instructions and your purpose to you for you to fulfill the vision that He’s assigned you to be busy on [whether it appears to be on a large or small scale], and the enemy will try to send distractions your way to get you off course or to cause you to abandon the vision all together. Commit today to have razor focus on what God has assigned to you. Take on the same attitude that Nehemiah and his men had: “why should the work stop while I leave to come down to meet you?” Don’t come down to the enemies level. The work God has called you to is much too important. Stay focused on what God has called you to.

We can draw our strength from God spiritually and sometimes it can manifest physically. We have the privilege of His boldness operating on the inside of us so that we can we can represent Him properly and share His love with the world. May we rest in the authority and power that we have through the power of His Son Jesus. #boldness #righteous #strength #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory

“And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].” -Philippians 4:7 AMP

The peace that God gives is far beyond this world’s understanding. It gives peace to and protects our hearts and minds in the midst of times when everything around us may seem unstable. It literally “stands guard” to the circumstance around us. No matter what is going on in your life right now – good or bad – rest assured that you can find peace, direction, and wisdom in your Father. He loves you, and He is more than able to handle the affairs of your life. #peace rest #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory

May the wisdom of God flow from our lips today. God please put a watch over our mouths (Psalm 141:3) and show us how to answer every man. Thank you in advance for showing us how to handle every situation that comes our way today so that we can better represent you as your ambassador. .

While happiness is literally a human emotion that can vary from day to day, minute to minute, the joy of the Lord, just like our Father God, is unbothered by the circumstance of this world or our lives. The joy that we get from God and through honoring Him with our lives is truly a gift. The more time we stay in His presence, the more joy we are filled with (in His presence is fullness of joy). Take the time today to fill up on His joy and to continue to meditate on His Word. . #joy #happiness #unbothered #biblestudy #dailydevotional #scripture #verseoftheday #vcccharlotte #iamvictory

"Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful." -Colossians 3:12-15 NLT

.

As you stir out of bed and move towards the closet this morning to pick out your attire for the day, be sure to reflect in the Mirror of God’s Word to see how your spiritual attire is looking. Are you clothed with mercy, kindness, humility? Are you clothed with love? The more we allow God to develop us and the fruits of the spirit to grow in our lives, the more we will become like Him. Our hearts and minds will be at peace and we will see others through His loving eyes. God has chosen you as His own. Walk in love with those around you and trust that God will empower you to do so as you become more like Him.

God's faithfulness is UNDENIABLE! Even when we miss the mark or when we’re disappointed by the failures of others or even ourselves, we can rest assured that God’s faithfulness to us will never change. Take the time today to reflect today on God’s faithfulness both in the examples we see in the Word of God and in your personal life. Think on a time that God gave you a way out when it seemed like there was no other solution. It will help to bring perspective to your present situation, strengthen your faith and bring joy just thinking on His love for you...like His faithfulness, it’s undeniable!

"Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you. And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty” -2 Corinthians 6:17-18 NLT

As His children, God has called us to come out of the world, its ways and customs and to instead come to and embrace Him. Just like any other good father, He loves us and wants the best for us. He has called us to live a life of holiness and through that lifestyle, we not only honor Him but we distinguish ourselves to the world that we are His children and belong to Him. Not only do we honor God in our physical bodies, but in our conversation, our daily habits and our thoughts. Commit today to let your light shine and to honor your Father in both your deeds and conversations so that the lost might know Him and be drawn to Him.

Oftentimes, the normal response to dealing with trials and circumstances in life is to complain or to become discouraged, but God instructs us through His Word to not only grateful but to "continually" give thanks to God. That would imply that His desire is for us to make it a way of life. So make the commitment today to have a grateful heart. Consciously note things to be grateful for. Gratefulness not only pleases God, but it will remind you of His faithfulness and open your eyes to new perspective and opportunities.
