🤔 If we evaluated the words that come out of our mouths on a daily basis, we may be surprised about how many things that we’ve actually spoken into existence over time. Have the words of your mouth been properly aligning with what God says about the situation or by what your emotions and other people have dictated to you? As children of God and His ambassadors, we should desire to please Him in everything that we do (Psalm 19:4, Proverbs 10:32). Our words and our faith literally frame our world. So, pause and think today before you speak over yourself, others or any circumstance. Prayerfully, our words are faith-filled and our speech glorifies our Father, thereby curating a life and platform to bring Him glory. Have a blessed Friday!

We may be able to fool others for a period of time, but eventually, what’s inside will eventually come out - good or bad - because our words are indicative of the true condition of our heart. Thoughts will become words and then words eventually translate into actions, so be careful about the type of treasure you allow to be stored in your heart. Only you have the authority to determine whether the conversations you’re a part of, the music or shows you watch, the material you read
🙌 Create in me a clean heart God (Psalm 51:10) so that my words do not deceive or misrepresent You as I am your child. I desire for the treasure in my heart to honor you so that my thoughts are good, lovely and pure (Philippians 4:8), God please give me wisdom and discernment on what I’m exposing myself to daily. Thank you Lord for your love and grace to send the Holy Spirit as my Helper so that I may honor you in word and deed. Amen.
🤔 God was already aware of your arrival and the thought of you even then brought Him joy (v.17)! God, your Creator (Inventor) has created you for His own unique purpose and plans, so don’t grow weary of taking the time to review His Instruction Manual for your operation (assignment) here on earth.
🙌 The Holy Spirit will help bring understanding and revelation on the application of those instructions He’s given and how they apply to your life. There is literally no one else on this earth that has been equipped with the same gifts, talents, personalities, etc. that you have been, so thank God for the portion He has entrusted to you. Selah and smile…you are loved and one-of-a-kind!

Slow to speak...quick to hear. It's so much easier said than done sometimes, right? Well God wants to lead your life, and one of the ways we allow Him to do just that is to entrust our mind and emotions do Him as well by letting Him take the lead.
Our emotions or even pride sometimes can influence us to speak when we should be listening and to miss out on key information because we think we've got the situation all figured out in our minds. Practice praying in tongues today and making a conscious effort to follow this command. It will curate the opportunity for God to speak wisdom to your spirit in different areas before you open your mouth. It may also save you embarrassment, time and resources. God thank you for loving us and thank you for putting a watch over our mouths today (Psalm 141:3) in Jesus name. Amen. Have a blessed day today!

🙌 It’s comforting to know that our Heavenly Father always finishes what He starts. From the beginning of time, He has held the same reputation, and it will never change (Hebrews 13:8).
Check the first few chapters of Genesis. Even during creation, He completed what He started. He did not rest until it was all done (Genesis 2:2). Jesus didn’t come to us in the form of man, live 30+ years and then decide to abandon the assignment in the Garden of Gethsemane right before His prophesied crucifixion. God didn’t bring the Isrealites half-way out of Egypt or through the Red Sea. He brought them all the way out, vanquishing their enemy in the process…and, He’ll do the same for you. He will not abandon you, and everything that He has begun in you, He will complete it, IF you stick with Him.
The purpose and plans that He’s given you are unique, and it’s desire to perfect those areas that concern you and use you for His glory. So, don’t give up. He hasn’t given up on you. Be encouraged and have a blessed day!
“Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:13 AMP
God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Take the time daily to pray in the spirit to stir up your spirit man. Seek God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Only Jesus can quench our soul’s thirst. #soulsthirst #mattersoftheheart #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory
☀️ Rise and shine! You have the privilege of being an ambassador of the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. You’re a representative of Jesus Christ! Most country’s ambassadors are entrusted with the responsibility of representing and communicating the interest of their home country while residing in a foreign land. In a similar fashion, we as believers are aliens, strangers in this world. The world’s customs and priorities are foreign to us. Furthermore, we are just “passing through” for a temporary assignment on earth and while we are here, God encourages us to not be conformed to the world (Romans 12:2). Though we physically reside in the world, our citizenship papers are in Heaven (Philippians 3:20).
🙌It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day circumstances of life, but it’s important that we not loose site of the mission that we are on as sons and daughters of God. Never forget that one key way to stay “in tune” with your heavenly homeland and to make sure you are fulfilling the assignment of the King of that land is to regularly pray in tongues. We get direction, wisdom, power and insight that others aren’t privy to. Remember, we are “living epistles” (communicators) of God’s ability! Embrace the assignment and expect Him to move on your behalf!
📖 "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." -Romans 12:1-2, NLT
🙌 There is healing and breakthrough in your worship whether on your knees or through your daily walk with God. Allow God to transform you and your mind daily so that you will understand what His will is for your life. Trust and find comfort in the fact that He knows best for you.

📖 Salvation and our relationship with Christ, as a whole, should not be a stagnant one. Continue to grow, learn and study the things of God, so that you develop spiritually everyday. Pray in tongues regularly so that the Holy Spirit - your Teacher - can instruct you and give wisdom and guidance where needed. What a merciful Father we serve! He wasn’t just interested in “saving” us, but after He did, He cared enough for us to perfect those things that concern us and use us for His will (Psalm 138:8)!
🙌 God please continue to work in and through us for your good pleasure and purpose. Thank you for the pleasure and privilege of being fit for your use, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
📖“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.” -Psalm 9:10 NLT
🤔 What’s in a name? All throughout the Bible, we can see the great importance of names. A person’s name revealed both the character and/or affiliations an individual had. When God called Abram and made a covenant with Him revealing that He would be the Father of many nations, his name was changed from Abram to Abraham. He stepped into God’s plan and purpose for His life, but His name was changed prior to it even being brought into fruition. In the same sense, we can look at the many names of God (i.e. Jehovah Jireh - our provider, Jehovah Nissi - our Healer). His name(s) reveal His nature, power, and character (goodness, mercy, power, faithfulness, just for starters) to the world.
🙌 Because we know that neither He nor His character changes, we can trust Him (Hebrews 13:8). So, if you have need of anything, simply call on His name. He’s still healing, still providing, still comforting, still making a way out of no way, still fighting our battles, still giving us favor, peace and discernment. Place your trust and confidence in His name. Remind yourself today of all that His name reveals about Who He is to you. He won’t fail you.
👂What have your ears been tuned into lately? It’s important for us as ambassadors of Christ to be tuned into the “skillful and godly wisdom” that only God can provide. An ambassador aims to carry out the wishes of the leadership and country that he or she is representing. So, in the same regard, we should be eager to ensure that we have clear instruction and discernment on how to handle the affairs of our lives instead of yielding to our own intellect (Proverbs 3:5-6).
🙌 We serve a good God and Father, and He’s more than wiling to - happy to - give us HIS wisdom when we ask Him in faith. So, make sure you stay in tune and in communication with your homeland (the Kingdom of God) and its leader (your Heavenly Father). SN: Praying in the Holy Spirit is the “tuning” device to help ensure your signal is clear.

📖 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." -Hebrews 13:8 NLT
🙌 Rejoice this morning that you have the opportunity serve a God that genuinely loves you...unconditionally! He gave His absolute best for you when He sent His son Jesus (John 3:16-17). If He saved His people before, that means He still is well able to do the same for you today. If He gave you wisdom or got you through 10 years ago (or yesterday), then He'll give you wisdom and get you through today. He’s still omnipresent (Jeremiah 23:23-24), Lord of all lords (1 Timothy 6:15), your Peace (John 14:27), your Comforter (John 14:26), your Healer (1 Peter 2:24), your Father and so much more. His love for you is consistent, so relax IN it this morning. Have a blessed day. ☀️

💪 You are not weak, feeble or devoid of strength or peace. So be mindful of your confession. Your words have power and so do your thoughts because they can influence the words that come out of your mouth (Psalm 19:14).
The Lord will restore vitality to your soul. His joy will produce strength in any area of your life where there is a lack of it (Nehemiah 8:10). Because of His love for us, He goes before us and makes a way out of no way. So, relax: you can put ALL of your confidence in Him. (This is one of the instances where its okay to put all your eggs in one basket.) Rest IN Him Mighty of Man / Woman of God!
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].” -2 Corinthians 5:17AMP
As believers in Christ, we have received a new identity, but have you truly embraced that identity? We belong to God, and our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). Our conversation, values and ways of doing things may appear to be foreign to this world the more we become like Christ and the fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in our lives. Rejoice today that your identity is in Christ: you are redeemed from the curse of the law (Gal.3:13)! You are the righteousness of God (2 Cor. 5:21), you are THE healed (1 Peter 2:24), accepted (Ephesians 1:6), you have the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5-8) and so much more! Meditate on who and Whose you are and your confidence on the authority that you have IN Christ will grow.

💯 Period. If God said it, then we have to get to the point where that settles it in your mind. Even if you aren’t convinced by the power of God and the victory that God has already given you, your enemy, the devil, believes it. He’s just hoping that He can discourage you and get you to live and speak in a way that opposes what God has already given to you. Because He believes, he is working diligently to try to steal, kill and destroy the children of God (John 10:10) and any dreams along with it. He knows that God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). Isn’t it about time that we believed Him as well? Whatever it is that God has promised you, no matter how difficult or challenging it may seem to be, please remember that our GREAT God is not restricted by the circumstances of this world. He is not surprised. He is not moved. He is not impressed by them. Your words have power, so align them with what He has to say about the situation and your life, as a whole. The GREATER ONE lives inside of you! Put your confidence and trust totally in Him and seek His wisdom for direction in your life (ask for His help). He loves you, and He cares!
🙌 Lord, lead us by your Spirit today. Give us a clean heart, order our steps, give us your perfect peace! You are all powerful, all knowing, forever loving God, and we trust YOU! Our eyes are on You. We love you and thank you in advance for moving on our behalfs. Hallelujah!
📖 “He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near. Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.” -Ephesians 2:17-18 NLT
🙌 Because of Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross over 2,000 years ago, we have been brought near to God and made one with Him (v.13-14); whereas previously, sin separated us from God. Thank God that He brought the Gospel (the Good News) to us whether we were Jew or Greek. He thought about it, and counted each and every one of us worthy of saving and redeeming from the curse of the Law BEFORE we were even formed in our mother’s womb. Selah. What great love God has for us! Never doubt your worth or value to your Creator. He has shown us time and time again through His Word and through His actions that we are loved, cherished and the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8, Psalm 17:8)! You have access to your Father today through the Holy Spirit. Don’t take it for granted; stir up the gift and stay sensitive to your Father’s direction today. Have a blessed day.
🤔It’s difficult to get (and stay) depressed or bored when you have plans and insight of your future. Before you were even formed in your mother’s womb, God curated a unique plan for your life. The assignment that He has entrusted you with, the unique gifts and talents He’s equipped you with, no one else has in their possession.
👣 So step up to the plate and walk in the victory that God has already given you. The greater One lives inside of you (1 John 4:4), so don’t lean to your own understanding or to anyone else’s opinion about what you should be doing. Trust His direction for your life and allow Him to order your steps (Psalm 37:23). Not only will He NOT steer you wrong, but you will live a more fulfilled, happy life waking in God’s plans for your life.

📖 “When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life." Titus 3:4-7 NLT
☀️ Good morning! As you prepare for the day, be sure to reflect on the mercy of God. He clearly demonstrated His love and grace through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. It’s nothing that we did in and of ourselves, but through our salvation in Jesus, we have the freedom to live and walk around justified in God’s eyes. Not only do we have the gift of eternal life, but we have the benefit of having an actual relationship with Him and the privilege of receiving direction and comfort through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. So, don’t lose sight of the benefits of that relationship. God’s love for you is profound (John 15:13), and He desires for you to live victoriously in life. Just trust Him for direction and favor and be sure to give Him the glory every step of the way.
