DAILY DEVOTIONAL | March 1st

🙌 No matter our accomplishments or past failures, we must never lose site of the fact that we were bought with a price, and we DO NOT belong to ourselves, if we are children of God. ⁣

That means that everything that belongs to us - OUR will, OUR dreams, OUR vision, OUR plans should always align with the One Who holds ownership of our body. As long as we have breath in our bodies, we have the unique privilege of being the holy dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Yet, we are not the land “lords” because unlike the earthly landlords, we may be accustomed to, this omnipotent Tenant has Lord-ship over our lives and over the very earth that our temple treads. He is omniscient, and He runs the show; yet His very name and presence exudes love and grace. 

Regardless of what is on your schedule for today or what you may be facing, never forget that the Greater One abides inside of you, and you are more than equipped for the task. Rest IN Him and check in with Him throughout the day for wisdom and instructions. After all, He’s not too far away…He’s right inside [of you]. 😉⁣⁣

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | April 30th

The more we grow and mature in our relationship with God, the more we are able to reject carnality. In order for us to walk harmoniously with God and reject our carnal nature, we have to ensure that the fruits of the spirit are actively “growing” inside of us. The “fruit” will be visible to those around us; and as representatives of Christ, it’s important that others know us by our fruit, especially love (John 13:35). Ask God for His help in making sure that you are providing the best “environment” for your fruit to be harvested in. Sometimes, that simply means being aware of what we are exposing our spirit man to (entertainment, unfruitful conversations, associations, etc.). So stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit. The maturation and condition of your fruit depends on it. ⁣⁣

🙌 It’s God’s desire that we not only trust Him but confidently rest in Him. When we do, we have God’s promise to have his “unbothered”, perfect peace (John 14:27). Redirect your thoughts, if need be, to focus on God’s love for you and on things that are true, honest, just, pure and lovely (Philippians 4:8). Allow God to mold your character and will into one that pleases and represents His kingdom accurately. We can expect God to intervene in our lives and to do great things, so rest and take refuge in Him. HIDE and take shelter IN Him, knowing that when you do, you can STAND boldly and confidently, knowing that He’s got your back.

☀️ Good morning new mercies! God has has blessed you with an entirely new set of them today. Yes…He is faithful and because of His faithfulness, we can be faith FULL; we can put our hope in Him. He is dependable and consistent, and His heart towards us is compassionate. So never tire seeking God’s direction and/or walking in His purpose for your life. If you’ve missed the mark, His grace is sufficient; if you’ve hit it, it’s still only because of His grace. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | April 27th

🙌 We serve a God who desires to perfect those areas that concern us (Psalm 138:8); and as a result, God - our Father - gives instruction and sometimes even discipline to us because of His love for us. Like any good Father, it’s His desire to grow and get better so that we can serve better as His representatives. ⁣

So never fret, get dismayed or annoyed at His instruction. One of the worse things in life is for one to go through life thinking you are wise or intelligent, but to viewed any others as foolish. Humility is one of our greatest assets. On God’s part, His “instruction” is a sign of His love. It should ignite an appreciation in our hearts. We should be honored to learn and receive it [God’s instruction]. SELAH and be sure to give God thanks for His unconditional love for you.⁣

🙌 When the pressures of this world seem to be blowing in our direction , we have only to lean on God - our IMMOVABLE Rock. He steadies our footing and makes our way clear (Psalm 143:10) because He loves us and cares about our well-being and safety. In a spirit of gratitude for that love, we should honor Him through our words and deeds. He is a Holy and righteous God, and He cares about what we spend time meditating on (Philippians 4:8). May our thoughts reflect our respect and appreciation for His love, holiness and the sacrifice He made for us through His Son Jesus. Selah.⁣⁣

#UNBOTHERED … “not experiencing mental or physical discomfort”. We we place our confidence in our Father and Creator, we subsequently are graced with the ability to avoid anxiety and mental anguish. Even when it seems like the world around us has been shaken, we don’t have to be unearthed by those circumstances. God is our firm foundation, and when we stay rooted in Him, walking in obedience and in His purpose for our lives; we will live more productive, fulfilled lives. We will be better ambassadors for Christ because we honor Him. He sustains His children, breathing life into every area of their lives: emotionally, physically, and of course, spiritually. You can place ALL of your hope in God and live “unbothered” about how it will work out. God’s got you. Just stay sensitive and keep your spirit man built up all through the day. He will lead you and guide you every step of the way.

HALLELUJAH, He has risen! And just as He has risen and conquered death, hell and the grave, He is well able to resurrect and breathe life into any dead situation, dream or aspiration in your life. There is victory in our faith (IN Jesus Christ). You were qualified to be a “world overcomer” from the date that you were born again and accepted Christ into your heart. We’ve been given the victory to triumph and overcome the enemy and any hardship or circumstance that we may face while we are in this world because we are not OF this world! Our God is greater, and the Greater One lives inside of us, so we win! No matter what you’re facing, YOU WIN. God has already given us the victory and because He loves us, we’ve also been equipped with everything we need. He will provide for whatever He has called you to. He will give favor and wisdom when you need it, and He will make a way out of no way, if that’s needed. God is love and true love literally drives out fear. We should have a desire to represent Christ and do the same as His ambassadors here on earth. Only God can truly transform and perfect us in His perfect love because He IS love. Once this is done we are better qualified as His ambassadors.

God help us to authentically represent you in our expressions of love to you by truly loving our brothers and sisters that we see here on earth every day. Thank you Lord for your love God! 🙌 God doesn’t want His children to waste time being anxious over the cares of this world or their own provisions. Our attitude and character should mirror our Fathers. So, don’t forget He is not only a “good” Father, but He’s a GREAT one. So “seek” after the Kingdom of God and His ways, and He’ll provide (Philippians 4:19). If God said it, that settles it. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “settle” as “to fix or resolve conclusively; to establish or secure permanently; to sink gradually or to the bottom; to come to rest." ⁣

This offers us a colorful description of how we should receive any direction or leading from the Holy Spirit and every word that God has spoken to us through His Word [the Bible]. If He says that you are the righteousness of God, redeemed and set free, then that’s settles it: that IS who you are…NEXT! If He says that He’s given you the victory and that you have favor with Him and man, then it’s settled. Walk in obedience and trust His direction every step of the way. It’s past time that we let it “sink in” and “go to the bottom” of our hearts and minds: IT’S SETTLED. I don’t need a Plan B, I can depend on God. He is faithful, and His promises are sure (2 Corinthians 1:20). #ItsSettled #TrustGod AND #Rest⁣⁣

🤔 Oftentimes, the path that we are on in life has already been “straightened” for us and sometimes without us even being aware - that’s the kind of good God we serve. He will cut down a mountain, smooth out rough ground or even people on our behalf to get us through, and the world will have to sit back and take notice at the way He does it. He will always get the glory.

We have access to the Holy Spirit, and He’s our Guide. He desires to order your steps and direct your life (Psalm 37:23), so let Him! When you reflect on all that He’s blessed you with today, also be grateful for the things He’s removed…from your path without you even being aware. You are loved and precious in His sight and the location of both your steps and heart is important to Him.

DAILY DOWNLOAD | April 12th

There are no weaknesses, past failures or any idiosyncrasy in the eyes of man that are a match for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18). Mankind just isn’t that powerful (shrug). So, if you’ve received instruction from God and have been led to move in a certain direction but haven’t yet, don’t falter any longer! Not only is His strength made perfect in our weakness, but He honors our obedience. ⁣

He is pleased when we step out and trust Him even when circumstances are beyond our control, and we don’t quite understand how things will work out (Hebrews 11:6). ⁣

Most importantly, when God gets the glory, and it is evident that it is Him and not ourselves that have accomplished a feat, it puts the focus on God. Then He closes the deal by drawing that man or woman’s heart to Himself; and that’s what it’s all about if we are His ambassadors here on earth, right? Be blessed!⁣
