We were never meant to carry the cares of the world on our shoulders. Release and transfer any burdens and concerns you may have to your Heavenly Father. Not only can He handle the weight of any circumstance in your life, but He can strengthen you and “carry you” as well. He will protect you; and by the direction of the Holy Spirit, He will guide you and won’t allow you to slip. Trust Him and follow His lead. He will never leave you or let you down.

Thoughts are one of the things that we can hide from others, but they eventually reveal themselves because our thoughts will eventually influence and impact our actions. There’s a reason that God tells us to meditate - to center our minds - on things that are pure, wholesome, confirmed by His Word and honorable; He cares about what is on our hearts and our minds even when others are not aware (1 Samuel 16:7).
So, if you’re struggling with anger, impure thoughts, doubt or even trusting God and building your faith, take a look at what you’ve allowed your mind to focus on. Even strengthening our relationship with God - just like any other relationship - demands devoting time to it and studying His Word. Think on those things that honor God and ask for His help to stay focus on those things. He is not only willing, but He desires to help you (Psalm 46:1).

Salvation and our relationship with Christ, as a whole, should not be a stagnant one. Continue to grow, learn and study the things of God, so that you develop spiritually everyday. Pray in tongues regularly so that the Holy Spirit - your Teacher - can instruct you and give wisdom and guidance where needed. What a merciful Father we serve! He wasn’t just interested in “saving” us, but after He did, He cared enough for us to perfect those things that concern us and use us for His will (Psalm 138:8)!

🙌 🙌 BC (or BEFORE Christ), we were considered “Gentiles”. Because of Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross over 2,000 years ago, we have been brought near to God and made one with Him (v.13-14), even though previously, sin separated us from God. Thank God that He brought the Gospel (the Good News) to us whether we were Jew or Greek. He thought about it, and counted each and every one of us worthy of saving and redeeming from the curse of the Law BEFORE we were even formed in our mother’s womb. Think about it: What great love God has to have for us, right?
Never doubt your worth or value to your Creator. He has shown us time and time again through His Word and through His actions, that we are loved, cherished and the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8, Psalm 17:8)! You have access to your Father today through the Holy Spirit. Don’t take it for granted. Stir up the gift and stay sensitive to your Father’s direction today. Have a blessed day!

Do you know who you are? Better yet, do you know WHOSE you are? You belong to God if you were born again into His family. He treasures you and has deemed you royalty, so hold your head up king/queen (Psalm 3:3; Proverbs 27:6)! If you were not “fit” for royalty, then God wouldn’t have proclaimed you to be “His people”; He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19).
God not only cares about our hearts, but He cares about our countenance. Does your life and mouth testify of the goodness of God? He cares about how we represent Him, as His “chosen” people, both in deed and in conversation. Who you identify with will eventually influence your decisions and how you live. May we accept and rest IN His love for us today and may He help us today to properly represent Him today both in word and deed.

It’s fruitless to worry and fear about tomorrow and our well being, when we are in the care and responsibility of such a loving and protective Heavenly Father (Matthew 6:25-27). Not only is it God’s desire that we come to Him with our concerns, requests, He also desires for us to have a heart of expectancy and trust that He will answer us and honor His Word.

When our focus is on representing our Heavenly Father well here on earth, then we will do our best to ensure that our “good name” is intact. How else can we properly represent One so powerful, faithful and worthy of all of our praises? Ironically, when we have a good name or reputation - be it on the job, with a lender or within your respective communities, you are looked upon more favorably and better opportunities will come your way. Oftentimes, the monetary amount of what is saved or given to you when you have the favor of God is on your life is of greater value to you in the end.

🙌 It’s encouraging to know that God is a “finisher”. He didn’t start calling creation - as we know it - into existence and then give up because He was tired or no longer inspired. Be encouraged that in a similar fashion, the work that God has begun IN you, whether it’s your purpose, a vision that God has given you or even Him helping you to make improvements in your life (Psalm 138:8), He will complete it. He has not and will not give up on you, so don’t you dare throw in the towel either! You can do all things with the help of the Lord (Philippians 4:13).

Our world is changing and so is our culture. Every day, we are witness to drastic changes in religious beliefs, political stances, fashion and even our relationships with others. The level of our confidence and faith in God will ultimately reveal itself through our actions and words. We serve the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords, who holds all power in His hand (Daniel 2:47, Matthew 28:18) ! NONE can compare to Him…period!
So, when we see through His Word that He instructs us to be strong and courageous, we should be honored in rejoice in that Truth because it reveals God’s love for us and the delegated authority that we can walk in us believers.
