🤔 Oftentimes, we unknowingly place our confidence and trust in the intellect of those whom we deem wise, accomplished or affluent by the world’s standards. We don’t give it a second thought on how easily we mentally absorb their recommendations or outlook on our lives or the lives of those around us. In fact, we’re intrigued by it.⁣⁣

⁣⁣However, our Heavenly Father desires for us to put “all our eggs in one basket” when it comes to putting our faith in Him and His Word. That means trusting Him and His will even when we don’t understand how things will work out. Ultimately, it’s the respect and the honor of God that leads to true knowledge, and we please Him when we trust in Him without wavering (Hebrews 11:6). ⁣⁣

⁣⁣He offers us wisdom and understanding through the leading of the Holy Spirit because He loves us. So, don’t take this outward expression of that love for granted. He is all-powerful and there is NO ONE who can compare to Him. He doesn’t just offer generic feedback to the questions and concerns you may have because He really doesn’t know. He’s omniscient - all knowing! He has all of the wisdom, insight and strength that YOU specifically need for YOUR life. So, trust Him and REST [in Him].⁣⁣

The plans and counsel of the Lord are solid - you can trust them! As a matter of fact, you can trust HIM! God’s plans for your life did not begin on the day you were birthed into the world. While He crafted you in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5), He knew your purpose and the plans He had for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).

🙏🏼 When we submit our dreams and plans to our Heavenly Father and obey His guidance instead of our own intellect, His track record proves that He will set the scene to make our plans successful. As believers - God’s children - we don’t have to rely on our own intellect and knowledge to exercise good judgement. We have only to confidently ask God for wisdom, and He’ll give it to us (James 1:5). It’s that simple! Godly wisdom provides revelation on how to apply earthly knowledge. It helps us to  perceive what what we may not have otherwise understood based on our limited knowledge of situations.

We have a Good Father! We don’t have to continuously bump our heads because of bad decision-making. God has given us what we need to do the exact opposite. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26), and He desires to give insight to us on even the seemingly insignificant affairs of our life. This is so that our decision making can be wise and pleasing to our Heavenly Father. So remember today to: Pray…Pause…Wait for Direction, Then Act.

Jesus knew that we would be in need of help once He returned to Heaven. Like our Heavenly Father, He loves us unconditionally, and when He returned to Heaven, He did not abandon us. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit. The world isn’t privy to His presence in their lives, but we (as His children) are never alone because He is in us. He is our Helper while we are on earth. He brings things back to our remembrance, AND He’s our Comforter and Peace. You have no business. worrying or fearing because He lives IN you (1 Corinthians 6:19)! He is all you need.

You have your own POWERHOUSE inside of you. So, tap into that power - build your spirit man up throughout the day - so that you can remain sensitive to His guidance, wisdom and strength. He’s there to help you, so go to Him first before consulting your intellect, emotions or other people (Proverbs 3:5-6). You were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20), but even after that purchase was made, you were deemed to be gifted with the Holy Spirit, so don’t forsake Him. Take advantage of all that your Helper was assigned to assist you with. #YouAreNotAlone
