We cannot access true wisdom - Godly wisdom - without God. God is all powerful; there’s nothing too hard for Him, and no one who can stand against Him (Romans 8:31). Lighten your load this morning! God is willing and able to give you the strength that you need (physical, emotional, etc.) all while taking on any burdens you’ve been toting around as well! ⁣⁣

Unlike any “experienced” human hiking guide, our Heavenly Father has the ability to lead us and hold us up. With a steady arm, He firmly navigates us through any difficulties (inclines) during this hike that we call Life. Miraculously, He can also handle carrying any burdens, concerns or anxieties that we may have in the process, if we’ll just release them to Him. So, rest IN Him. #HesGotYou⁣⁣

🙌 Peace is just one of the benefits of being in the family of God (Isaiah 26:3, John 14:27), so be encouraged and take advantage of what He willingly has made available to you. When we accept God’s gift of salvation to us and fully surrender our lives to Him and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we position God to be able to lead our steps and direct our lives. We are His responsibility, and there is no detail to small or insignificant to Him. ⁣⁣

He has a unique purpose for your life and just like the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5), He desires to set you apart for His use. Don’t waste any more time worrying about the affairs of your life; God’s got you and He’s sent the Holy Spirit - your Helper (John 14:26) - to help guide you every step of the way. Rest in Him and in His love for you; listen to your spirit man and trust His guidance in the affairs of your life.⁣⁣

The Good Shepherd LEADS us beside peaceful streams (He doesn’t want us anxious or to fret about anything; He wants us to rest IN Him. Philippians 4:6). He GUIDES you and directs your steps to walk in the will and purpose that He desires for your life (Psalm 37:23). Even when we may find ourselves going through tough times or in the presence of company that may have ill will toward us, our Good Shepherd gives us perfect peace and never leaves our side (John 14:27)! Not only will God provide you with the strength to sustain you throughout the day today, He will also provide you with the protection and security that you need, whether physically or emotionally. Run to Him, sit in His presence and rest! No need to put up your guards, your heart is safe with Him (Psalm 91:2). ⁣

He has already proven Himself to be a reliable place of shelter in the midst of the turmoils or busyness of life. You ARE divinely protected (Psalm 91:9-12). As you leave out of your home today (“earthly covering”) today, remember you have already stepped into "His shelter" in your mind and heart. ⁣

God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Taking the time to pray in the spirit daily stirs up your spirit man. So commit to seeking God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Only Jesus can quench our soul’s thirst.⁣⁣

Father knows best and only wants the best for His children. Commit to reflecting on His Word (the Bible) throughout the day. Not only does He desire for you to prosper, He desires for you to know His heart and succeed (Joshua 1:8). ⁣

The more we hear the God’s Word, the easier it is for us to familiarize ourselves and connect to His heart. The more we hear His heart and desires and actually obey His instruction, the more our faith builds (Romans 10:17). The more our faith builds, the easier it is for us to walk and operate in it as a way of life, and when we do this, our Father is pleased and proud of us (Hebrews 11:6)! Walking in God’s unique purpose for YOUR life demands putting your confidence in Him completely. So stay connected to Him and practice hearing and obeying all that He’s instructed you to do. 🤔 Oftentimes, we unknowingly place our confidence and trust in the intellect of those whom we deem wise, accomplished or affluent by the world’s standards. We don’t give it a second thought on how easily we mentally absorb their recommendations or outlook on our lives or the lives of those around us. In fact, we’re intrigued by it.⁣⁣

⁣⁣However, our Heavenly Father desires for us to put “all our eggs in one basket” when it comes to putting our faith in Him and His Word. That means trusting Him and His will even when we don’t understand how things will work out. Ultimately, it’s the respect and the honor of God that leads to true knowledge, and we please Him when we trust in Him without wavering (Hebrews 11:6). ⁣⁣

⁣⁣He offers us wisdom and understanding through the leading of the Holy Spirit because He loves us. So, don’t take this outward expression of that love for granted. He is all-powerful and there is NO ONE who can compare to Him. He doesn’t just offer generic feedback to the questions and concerns you may have because He really doesn’t know. He’s omniscient - all knowing! He has all of the wisdom, insight and strength that YOU specifically need for YOUR life. So, trust Him and REST [in Him].⁣⁣

The plans and counsel of the Lord are solid - you can trust them! As a matter of fact, you can trust HIM! God’s plans for your life did not begin on the day you were birthed into the world.
