Devotional 11.13.2019.png

🙌 Good morning! God has has blessed you with an entirely new set of mercies today. He is faithful and because of His faithfulness,  we can put our hope in Him. He is consistent, and His heart towards us is compassionate. So never tire seeking God’s direction and/or walking in His purpose for your life. If you’ve missed the mark, His grace is sufficient; if you’ve hit it, it’s still only because of His grace.

Trust your Heavenly Father’s leading of your life (Psalm 23, Isaiah 30:21). Your confidence in Him can be renewed afresh this morning and the next, just like his mercies. He is a good Father!

Weather, people, politics, emotions, culture, climates, prices and even our own opinions can change from day to day, but our God - the One and only true and Living God is unchanging! Furthermore, His Word = TRUTH (John 17:17).

⁣⁣

🙏🏼 Go to your Heavenly Father about whatever it is going on in your life today, good or bad, and if you need wisdom or a miracle, have faith in Him! Take the time to study God’s Word so that you know what He has to say about the situation and then stand on that Word because it is final. Let God’s Word have the final say in your life. He loves you and will not fail you!⁣⁣

Our God is a “finisher”. He completes every task that His hand is upon. He didn’t start calling creation - as we know it - into existence and then give up because He was tired or no longer inspired. Be encouraged that in a similar fashion, the work that God has begun IN you, whether it’s your purpose, a vision that God has given you or even Him helping you to make improvements in your life (Psalm 138:8), He will complete it. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

🙌 He has not and will not give up on you. You can do all things with the help of the Lord (Philippians 4:13) and can complete any task today in Jesus’ name. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣HAPPY SUNDAY!

It may be chilly this morning, but don’t forget to take a bite of the Word this morning. It will do your spirit well. So, why not start with our “fruit”? 😋 The more we grow and mature in our relationship with God, the more we are able to reject carnality. The “fruit” will be visible to those around us; and as representatives of Christ, it’s important that others know us by our fruit, especially love (John 13:35).

⁣

Ask God for His help in making sure that you are providing the best “environment” for your fruit to be harvested in. Sometimes, that simply means being aware of what we are exposing our spirit man to (entertainment, unfruitful conversations, associations, etc.). So stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit. The maturation and condition of your fruit depends on it. ⁣

⁣🙌 When the pressures of this world seem to be blowing in our direction , we have only to lean on God - our IMMOVABLE Rock. He steadies our footing and makes our way clear (Psalm 143:10) because He loves us and cares about our well-being and safety. In a spirit of gratitude for that love, we should honor Him through our words and deeds. ⁣

He is a Holy and righteous God, and He cares about what we spend time meditating on (Philippians 4:8). May our thoughts reflect our respect and appreciation for His love, holiness and the sacrifice He made for us through His Son Jesus. Selah.⁣⁣⁣

As believers in Christ, we have received a new identity, but have you truly embraced that identity? We belong to God, and our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). Our conversation, values and ways of doing things may appear to be foreign to this world the more we become like Christ and the fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in our lives. ⁣

Your identity is in Christ; you are redeemed from the curse of the law (Gal.3:13)! You are the righteousness of God (2 Cor. 5:21), you are THE healed (1 Peter 2:24), accepted (Ephesians 1:6), you have the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5-8) and so much more! Meditate on who and Whose you are and your confidence on the authority that you have IN Christ will grow. ⁣

🗣Never forget that your words have POWER! Make a conscious effort today to speak life and not death over yourself, your family, friends and loved ones. Let your first words today be ones of thanksgiving to God for the gift of life this morning (1 Chronicles 16:34); but make sure that before you think about the current circumstances of your life - good or bad, you examine what you say, if you should say anything at all. ⁣

Ask God to guard the door of your mouth (Psalm 141:3). You are a child of the Most High God and redeemed from the curse of the law. Speak to your situation and confess positive things over your life. Think on good things (Philippians 4:8), then speak life to your circumstance. Remember again that your words frame your world! Have a blessed day. ⁣

🤔 Have you allowed the cares of this world to rob you of your peace of mind? Regardless of your present circumstance, never forget that God’s peace transcends all understanding (John 14:27). It is unbothered by the circumstances of life. So, keep your mind focused on things that honor your Heavenly Father and be sure to confess today: "I have the mind of Christ! His priorities are my priorities. My future is safe in Him." You can rest and put your confidence in Him.⁣ ☀️⁣

When our focus is on representing our Heavenly Father well, we will do our best to ensure that our “good name” is intact. How else can we properly represent a God so powerful, faithful and worthy of all of our praises? Ironically, when we have a good name or reputation whether on the job, with a lender or within your respective communities, you are looked upon more favorably and better opportunities will come your way. Oftentimes, the monetary amount of what is saved or given to you when you have the favor of God is on your life is of greater value to you in the end. ⁣⁣

🙏 God, please give us the wisdom, strength and direction to represent you properly in our behavior, deeds and thoughts. Thank you for the favor that you have given us so freely and surrounded us with (Psalm 5:2). We are forever grateful for your love for us.⁣

God has literally given you all that you need to live your life victoriously? The more time we spend “at His feet” and meditating on His Word, we get to know Him better thereby making it easier to conform to His ways. He sent His Son Jesus so that we could be reconciled with Him, and so that we could be delivered and set free from any sickness, disease, bondage or baggage.

You MORE than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). He is your protection and covering, so you have nothing to fear (Psalm 91:4). In and through the mighty power of God, you will find the strength you need to fulfill every task before you today (Ephesians 6:10, Philippians 4:13)! So hold your head up and walk humbly and confidently in the divine power that God has given you!⁣

Good morning! Have a request for your Heavenly Father? ✋ Just like the psalmist David, we can give our requests to God and expect that God will answer us. In fact, we can put our confidence in the fact that if those request do please and honor Him, He will not only hear those prayers, but He will also answer them (1 John 5:14-15, Isaiah 65:24, John 14:14) . So, remove any doubt or unforgiveness and ask God to reveal any other potential hindrances. Then wait patiently on God. You can depend on the Lord. He will never fail you! Have a great day!

NOTHING is too hard for our Heavenly Father. He cannot and will not lie to us. Whatever He has said that He will do. So stand confidently on the promises of God and on the purpose and plans that He’s revealed to you. He will bring them to pass. ⁣⁣

He is faithful and regardless of whether you can see the physical manifestation of those promises yet, trust and believe that God said it, that settles it. Practice agreeing with His Word verbally. Have faith and visualize those things before they come into existence. Ask God for His help to see things the way He sees and desires for you to (Hebrews 11:1. 2 Kings 16:17). He’s got you. Just stay the course and keep your eyes on Him.⁣

☀️ RISE & SHINE! What are you facing this morning? Regardless of what it is good or bad, realize that you are NOT facing it alone. So, the next time a negative thought tries to cross your mind about the “gravity” or weight of the circumstance, re-adjust your thinking and ask [God]: “What are WE facing today?” Your response should be: Romans 8:31 (take a peek). Give it to God and be encouraged! God is with you! Nothing is too difficult for Him. Trust the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance and accept His peace (John 14:27). He is with you and will never abandon you.

We are in spiritual warfare on a daily basis; and your mouth is one of the most powerful tools that you have access to outside of the power of the Greater One living inside of you and your faith in God. So align the words of your mouth with God’s Word because those words will literally frame the world around you. Once and for all, adopt His outlook on any situation that you face and THEN speak, confessing only what God says or thinks. You have the power to change and influence any situation when you lend your mouth and your heart to Him. #HesGotYou⁣

God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Take the time daily to pray in the spirit to stir up your spirit man. Seek God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Salvation and our relationship with Christ, as a whole, should not be a stagnant one. It’s God heart that we continue to grow, by learning and study God’s Word. That’s how we develop spiritually everyday. Pray in tongues regularly so that the Holy Spirit - your Teacher - can instruct you and give wisdom and guidance where needed. Our Heavenly Father is loving and merciful! He wasn’t just interested in “saving” us. After He did, He cared enough for us to perfect those things that concern us and use us for His will (Psalm 138:8). So don’t give up! 💪⁣⁣

May God continue to work in and through us for His good pleasure and purpose. 🙌 “Thank you, God, for the pleasure and privilege of being fit for your use, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”⁣⁣

We have the promise of God’s PERFECT peace in the face of any circumstance we may face when are walking in God’s will for our lives. Our identity is IN Christ (1 Peter 2:9, Philippians 3:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17), and just as He has overcome the world, so have we! Just as He is victorious, so are we! 🙌 God desires to heal us and make us whole, inside and out; but because He genuinely loves us, He also just wants us to simply trust Him. When we put our faith and confidence in His direction for our lives and what He has said and thinks about us, He can dwell in our hearts and use us for His glory. What an honor it is to be “used” by Him and at His bidding (2 Corinthians 5:20). Soak up His love for you by resting IN Him, meditating on His love letter to you (the Word of God) and keeping your sensitive to His instructions throughout the day (by praying in tongues).
