As followers of Christ, we are pilgrims - immigrants even - just passing through here on earth (1 Peter 2:11). Throughout each of our journeys through life, it’s important that we take advantage of the internal Compass that we have access to via the Holy Spirit. ⁣⁣⁣

The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Teacher and Guide and no matter what we face or have questions about we can quiet ourselves inside and wait for His guidance. He can teach us more comprehensively than any book or degreed person ever could because our God is knowing. He knows the end at the beginning. He offers us strength and good counsel in the time that we need it when we come to Him. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣Our Heavenly Father loves His children, and it’s His desire that we keep our spirit man built up so that we can be properly led in the direction of His will for our life. Though you are not of this world, never forget that you have been equipped with the tools and weapons that you need to live victoriousy as you travel through it. #WeWin ⁣⁣⁣

🙌 It’s comforting to know that our Heavenly Father always finishes what He starts. From the beginning of time, He has held the same reputation, and it will never change (Hebrews 13:8). ⁣⁣⁣

Check the first few chapters of Genesis. Even during creation, He completed what He started. He did not rest until it was all done (Genesis 2:2). Jesus didn’t come to us in the form of man, live 30+ years and then decide to abandon the assignment in the Garden of Gethsemane right before His prophesied crucifixion. God didn’t bring the Isrealites half-way out of Egypt or through the Red Sea. He brought them all the way out, vanquishing their enemy in the process…and, He’ll do the same for you. He will not abandon you, and everything that He has begun in you, He will complete it, IF you stick with Him. ⁣⁣

The purpose and plans that He’s given you are unique, and it’s desire to perfect those areas that concern you and use you for His glory. So, don’t give up. He hasn’t given up on you. Be encouraged and have a blessed Sunday!⁣

🤔 Oftentimes, the path that we are on in life has already been “straightened” for us and sometimes without us even being aware - that’s the kind of good God we serve. ⁣⁣

He’ll cut down a mountain, smooth out rough ground or even send people on our behalf to get us through, and the world will have to sit back and take notice at the way He does it. He will always get the glory. We have access to the Holy Spirit, and He’s our Guide. He desires to order your steps and direct your life (Psalm 37:23), so let Him! ⁣

So when you reflect on all that He’s blessed you with today, also be grateful for the things He’s removed from your path without you even being aware. You are loved and precious in His sight and the location of both your steps and heart is important to Him. Trust in Him and rest (Proverbs 3:5-6)!⁣⁣⁣

🙌 No matter our accomplishments or past failures, we must never lose site of the fact that we were bought with a price, and we DO NOT belong to ourselves, if we are children of God. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

That means that everything that belongs to us - OUR will, OUR dreams, OUR vision, OUR plans should always align with the One Who holds ownership of our body. As long as we have breath in our bodies, we have the unique privilege of being the holy dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. Yet, we are not the land “lords” because unlike the earthly landlords, we may be accustomed to, this omnipotent Tenant has Lord-ship over our lives and over the very earth that our temple treads. He is omniscient, and He runs the show; yet His very name and presence exudes love and grace.⁣⁣

🙌 Regardless of what is on your schedule for today or what you may be facing, never forget that the Greater One abides inside of you, and you are more than equipped for the task. Rest IN Him and check in with Him throughout the day for wisdom and instructions. After all, He’s not too far away…He’s right inside [of you]. 😉⁣⁣⁣

Just a reminder this morning that there is NOTHING too hard for our Heavenly Father. He cannot and will not lie to us. Whatever He has said that He will do, He will do. So stand confidently on the promises of God and on the purpose and plans that He’s revealed to you. He will bring them to pass. ⁣

He is faithful and regardless of whether you can see the physical manifestation of those promises yet, trust and believe: if God said it, that settles it. Practice agreeing with His Word verbally. Have faith and visualize those things before they come into existence. Ask God for His help to see things the way He sees and desires you to (Hebrews 11:1. 2 Kings 16:17). He’s got you. Just stay the course and keep your eyes on Him.⁣

Because of Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross over 2,000 years ago, we have been brought near to God and made one with Him (v.13-14); whereas previously, sin separated us from God. Thank God that He brought the Gospel (the Good News) to us whether we were Jew or Greek. He thought about it, and counted each and every one of us worthy of saving and redeeming from the curse of the Law BEFORE we were even formed in our mother’s womb.

What great love God has for us! Never doubt your worth or value in your Creator’s eyes. He has shown us time and time again through His Word and through His actions that we are loved, cherished and the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8, Psalm 17:8)! You have access to your Father today through the Holy Spirit. Don’t take it for granted; stir up the gift and stay sensitive to your Father’s direction today. Have a blessed day.

We serve a God who desires to perfect those areas that concern us (Psalm 138:8); and as a result, God - our Father - gives instruction and sometimes even discipline to us because of His love for us. Like any good Father, it’s His desire to grow and get better so that we can serve better as His representatives. So never fret, get dismayed or annoyed at His instruction. One of the worse things in life is for one to go through life thinking you are wise or intelligent, but to viewed any others as foolish. Humility is one of our greatest assets. On God’s part, His “instruction” is a sign of His love. It should spark appreciation in our hearts. We should be honored to learn and receive it [God’s instruction]. SELAH and be sure to give God thanks for His unconditional love for you.⁣

😌 Even when we feel that we are confident in the path and purpose that we are walking in, it’s imperative that we take the time daily to check in with our Heavenly Father - the developer of that purpose - to ensure that our steps are still aligned. 📖 We are reminded in God’s Word to continue to place our confidence in God instead of our intelligence or experience. So trust in God’s plans for your life both in your day-to-day and long term interactions and planning. God is faithful, and He will establish and make sure His plans for your life. ⁣

☀️ Good morning! Have a request? Just like the psalmist David, we can give our requests to God and expect that God will answer us. In fact, we can put our confidence in the fact that if those request please and honor Him, that He will not only heart those prayers, but He will answer them (1 John 5:14-15, Isaiah 65:24, John 14:14) . So, remove any doubt, un-forgiveness and ask God to reveal any other hindrances. Then wait patiently on God. You can depend on the Lord. He will never fail you! Rest IN Him this morning. Have a great day!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your loved ones today from Victory!! 🙏🏽🙏🏻🙏⁣

❤️

Thanksgiving is defined as: a public acknowledgment or celebration of divine goodness; the act of giving thanks; a prayer expressing gratitude. Thanksgiving is an action; it’s recognizing the many reasons we have to be grateful. For the believer, it should be a daily mindset. We have so much to be grateful for: love, joy, peace, favor and more importantly, we have the promise of eternal salvation. If nothing else, you have a reason to be eternally grateful and to show God by honoring, sharing His love and properly representing Him everyday. We love you and thank God for you today. ⁣

💗📖 “To know Him is to love Him…” The more we deepen our relationship with God by allowing Him to teach us how to exercise good judgement and discernment in our personal lives, the better we get to know and strengthen our relationship with our Heavenly Father. When we embrace His precepts and make it a priority for the things that are dear to His heart to become close to ours, the more our faith is strengthened. His Word (the Bible) = His will = His heart. Keep your spirit man built up today and take the time “to know Him” a little better by reflecting on His Word. #HeWantsYouToKnowHimBetter⁣⁣

🙌 There is freedom in Christ, and because of God’s love for us, He’s instead given us love, power and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). God’s Word is Truth and as a result of the authority, power and authenticity of His Words, we can go to Him boldly regardless of what we are facing. We can share our heart with Him and seek direction to the purpose that He has on our lives. We are His ambassadors, and He always welcomes us checking in with Him for guidance and insight on the plans He has for our lives and for guidance in doing so. 🙌 Our Heavenly Father desires for our relationship with Him to not be a stagnant. Nope. He desires for your relationship with Him to be organic. It’s His heart that we are constantly growing, strengthening and reaffirming our faith and confidence in Him, knowing that He’ll never fail us. In essence, our goals, dreams and desires should be so deeply intertwined with His plans for our lives that it becomes second nature to consult with Him to make sure they stay aligned. In most sports, an umpire is one who “(in some sports) an official who watches a game or match closely to enforce the rules and arbitrate on matters arising from the play.” We are loved by God, and His love for us was demonstrated through Christ sacrifice on the cross. It’s a blessing to know that His love didn’t just stop on Calvary! He’s given us peace to weather through every situation in our lives (John 14:27). With that same peace, He desires to “umpire” the state of our hearts and minds. As we focus our minds on Him instead of the circumstance, like an umpire, He will “enforce the rules” of that perfect peace in our hearts (Isaiah 26:3). So, where’s your focus today? If need be, make the adjustment, so the Umpire can play His part in your life. He’s watching and waiting to intervene on your behalf.⁣

🙏 When we stay connected to God, following and remaining committed to Christ, we experience inner peace. While Jesus could have been boastful and harsh because of all His mighty exploits, He chose instead to walk in humility and to deal gently with our hearts.

⁣

As believers or followers of Christ, we should not only be concerned about sharing the Gospel, but we should have a desire to emulate His character and to honor Him in all we do. God will renew and refresh our souls, if we’ll allow Him to transform us from the inside out and provide us with the peace that only He can provide. Rest IN Him. ⁣⁣

Christianity is often compared to battle or combat. Perhaps that’s because spiritual warfare has so many similarities to physical warfare. Furthermore, Jesus alluded to this by referencing our “overcoming” the world (John 16:33). If you have been born again, then through your faith in God and Jesus's victory on the cross, you’ve overcome this world!

Just take a minute to reflect in the mirror of the Word to ensure that you are dressed for battle this morning with your spiritual armor: breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, etc. (Ephesians 6:10-18). And as it says in Ephesians 6:18, pray in tongues throughout the day and be alert - we’re at war! But there’s no need to fear or be anxious: God is with you and you have already overcome every challenge that may come your way - known or unknown. We have the victory!

In the midst of any tough situations or your enemies, it’s a miraculous think to know that because you have sought safe shelter in your Father inwardly, you can always stand confidently outwardly. ⁣

🤲 Your life is in His hands. So trust those same hands to guide you where you need to go and to provide for whatever He has called you to (Philippians 4:19). He is faithful!⁣
