We can make our own plans for our lives and even try to influence the plans of others, but at the end of the day, only the plans and purpose that the Lord has ordained for our lives will last (Proverbs 19:21). He establishes and makes our steps sure and “steady” (Psalm 37:23). Before you were formed in your mother’’s womb, God knew you, and He knew the plans and purpose He had for your life (Jeremiah 1:5). Only He has the power to solidify your plans, so put your trust in Him and stay connected so that you can receive instruction and "next steps" from Him. It’s His desire to direct the steps of His children. He loves you!

🙏 When we stay connected to God, following and remaining committed to Christ, we experience inner peace. While Jesus could have been boastful and harsh because of all His mighty exploits, He chose instead to walk in humility and to deal gently with our hearts. ⁣⁣

⁣⁣ As believers (followers of Christ), we should not only be concerned about sharing the Gospel, but we should have a desire to emulate His character and to honor Him in all we do. We have a Good Father! We don’t have to continuously bump our heads because of bad decision-making. God has given us what we need to do the exact opposite, and He’s invited to come to Him in faith. The terminology ‘do not fear’ or ‘fear not’ (dependent on the translation viewed) appears in God’s Word (His love letter to us) about 365 times in the Bible. The frequency that God reminds of this should also remind of us of His love for us and of how important it is to Him that His children not being paralyzed by fear. 

Our Father is righteous, and He holds ALL power in His hand, and He desires to hold us steady with it. Trust in Him for supernatural strength in your time of need. He will not fail you, so lay your burdens down with Him (fear, worry, anxiety) and pick up His peace and strength. Rest in Him. He is MORE THAN able to strengthen and sustain you.⁣

Ask God to guard the door of your mouth (Psalm 141:3). You are a child of the Most High God and redeemed from the curse of the law. Speak to your situation and confess positive things over your life - better yet: speak God’s Word over it. Think on good things (Philippians 4:8), then speak life to your circumstance. 🤔 How’s your diet been lately? Hopefully, your nutritional diet has been good but have you taken a moment to consider your spiritual diet? God desires for us to meditate (think deeply or focus one's mind for a period of time) on His Word so that our spirit man is strengthened. On top of that, He’s promised that He won’t abandon us while we walk in obedience. He’s promised to be with us every step of the way! 🙌 It’s comforting to know that we have the pleasure of serving a LIVING God that blesses us with air in our lungs. Each morning, we are blessed with the opportunity of waking up and speaking to Him. He loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus as a sacrifice so that we could be reconciled back with Him. We’ve been redeemed from the curse of the Law and because of Christ’ sacrifice, we no longer have to sacrifice animals to be forgiven of any sins. We now have the pleasure of presenting ourselves as a “living sacrifice” to Him (Romans 12:1).
