Regardless of how intellectually esteemed we may deem ourselves to be, it’s imperative for the believer to be totally dependent on the wisdom of God. To put confidence in anything else would be foolish, and the rotten fruits of that poor decision-making and pride will eventually bear witness in our lives.
The Word of God always encourages us to trust God and not to lean to our own understanding, regardless of how knowledgeable we may think we are in the process of our decision-making (Proverbs 3:5-6). God desires to give us “skillful and godly wisdom” - insight that we may not have been privy to otherwise. So, stay connected into your Spiritual Headquarters by praying in the Spirit. There is victory in our faith (IN Jesus Christ). You were qualified to be a “world overcomer” from the date that you were born again and accepted Christ into your heart. We’ve been given the victory to triumph and overcome the enemy and any hardship or circumstance that we may face while we are in this world because we are not OF this world! Our God is greater, and the Greater One lives inside of us, so we win! No matter what you’re facing, WE WIN.

If God said it, that settles it. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “settle” as “to fix or resolve conclusively; to establish or secure permanently; to sink gradually or to the bottom; to come to rest."
This offers us a colorful description of how we should receive any direction or leading from the Holy Spirit and every word that God has spoken to us through His Word [the Bible]. If He says that you are the righteousness of God, redeemed and set free, then that’s settles it. That IS who you are…period! If He says that He’s given you the victory and that you have favor with Him and man, then it’s settled, you do.
Walk in obedience and trust His direction every step of the way. It’s past time that we let it “sink in” and “go to the bottom” of our hearts and minds: IT’S SETTLED. 🗣 “I don’t need a Plan B, I can depend on God.” He is faithful, and His promises are sure (2 Corinthians 1:20).

As believers, we experience a degree of freedom that is foreign to those who do not have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. We have been redeemed from the curse of the law, and it’s our Father’s desire for us to no longer be bound by shackles of sin.
We are not bound to our past or present circumstance. We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13) and because of that independence from our sin nature (in salvation - John 3:16). Trust His plans for your life are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Walk boldly and humbly in your freedom in Christ!

When we walk in humility and cast down our cares, pride, anxieties, and worries and lay them at the feet of Jesus, not only do we better position ourselves for our Father to watch and protect us, but He also desires to honor us as we serve and represent His Kingdom.
If we were really equipped to carry all of the load ourselves, we wouldn’t be encouraged time and time again in God’s Word to give our cares to God. Trust that God knows best for your life and stay connected to Him for the direction so that He can lead you. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you.

🛡Christianity is often compared to battle or combat. Perhaps that’s because spiritual warfare has so many similarities to physical warfare. Furthermore, Jesus alluded to this by referencing our “overcoming” the world (John 16:33). If you have been born again, then through your faith in God and Jesus's victory on the cross, you’ve overcome this world! Just be sure to take a minute to reflect in the mirror of the Word to ensure that you are dressed for battle this morning with all your spiritual armor intact: the breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, etc. (Ephesians 6:10-18).
In addition, we are encouraged in Ephesians 6:18 to pray in tongues throughout the day and to be alert - we’re at war! However, there’s no need to fearful or anxious: God is with you, and you have already overcome every challenge that may come your way - known or unknown. We have the victory! #IAMVICTORY

🙌 Our Heavenly Father desires for our relationship with Him to not be a stagnant. Instead, He desires for your relationship with Him to be organic. It’s His heart that we are constantly growing, strengthening and reaffirming our faith and confidence in Him, knowing that He’ll NEVER fail us.
In essence, our goals, dreams and desires should be so deeply intertwined with His plans for our lives that it becomes second nature to consult with Him to make sure we stay aligned with Him. The more we trust and obey Him, the more our faith is strengthened. Start your day off thanking Him for His faithfulness! He won’t fail!

With all that is going on in our world, it’s important that we seek God and completely surrender our lives and will to Him. We must lean on our Heavenly Father and draw strength and wisdom from Him daily.
When we humbly come to Him believing that we can trust Him and that He has our best interest at heart, we will come to find - time and time again - that God will NEVER forsake us. He is pleased by our faith in His Word, and He will give us the direction and favor that we need in every situation.
