As we see the day of our Lord’s return approaching, it’s important that we keep our eyes and hearts fixed upward. We have the promise of God’s PERFECT peace in the face of any circumstance that we may face when are walking in God’s will for our lives. Our identity is IN Christ (1 Peter 2:9, Philippians 3:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17), and just as He has overcome the world, so have we! Just as He is victorious, so are we! The joy of the Lord is YOUR strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and it's by that strength, you are able to accomplish every task before you today!

Have you taken any unresolved worries or fears to God? Place your energy - your faith and confidence - in God. You’re in good hands with Him. If you are a believer, then you are God’s child, and He desires for you to take those concerns to Him. Your Father is always with you, and since worrying about things serves us no benefit, why waste your energy (Luke 12:25-26)? Seek His wisdom and take your requests to Him. He wants to hear from you.

It is still God’s desire for us to put ALL of our faith in Him. After all, the fear and reverence of God is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7), right? We cannot access true wisdom - Godly wisdom - without God. God is all powerful; there’s nothing too hard for Him, and no one who can stand against Him (Romans 8:31). So, instead, trust God for His wisdom, wait for His guidance and place your confidence in Him. #HeIsAble
Whether in deed or conversation, we as believers have also been entrusted with the great responsibility of properly representing our Heavenly Father. Because the “Greater One” lives inside of us, and we have been called to GO into the world and share of God’s love with the lost (1 John 4:4, Matthew 28:16-20), it’s important to never forget that we may be the only physical sighting of the “Greater One” (Jesus) that some witness.
Daily, we have to make a conscious effort to represent Christ accurately, especially in our conversation. Our words have power and they are often birthed out of the abundance of the content of our heart (Matthew 28:16-20). Ask and trust God for help to use your mouth to glorify Him. It’s our privilege as believers.

☀️ As you prepare for the day, be sure to reflect on the mercy of God. He clearly demonstrated His love and grace through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. It’s nothing that we did in and of ourselves, but through our salvation in Jesus, we have the freedom to live and walk around justified in God’s eyes. Not only do we have the gift of eternal life, but we have the benefit of having an actual relationship with Him and the privilege of receiving direction and comfort through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis.
Don’t lose sight of the benefits of that relationship. God’s love for you is profound (John 15:13), and He desires for you to live victoriously in life. Just trust Him for direction and favor and be sure to give Him the glory every step of the way.

Disappointed with people or circumstances right now? Tired of the deception in the world around us? Well, the fact still remains that our God is faithful! He is not a man that He can lie (Numbers 23:19). You can “take His Word to the bank”! You can trust Him because He is consistent, honest and true even when we are not. He is loving, patient and graceful where we may struggle. So, be encouraged!
Commit to stand on His Word through your words, thoughts AND actions. His Word brings LIFE and PEACE, so keep it before your eyes (Proverbs 4:20-22). As you stay connected to Him throughout the day, your spirit man is built up. He is faithful to lead, guide and give you direction and insight throughout the day.

It’s your Father’s desire to give you direction and guidance for your life as you seek His will for your life. God’s got your back, and He knows your future. Put your confidence in Him.

Stay the course and allow God to develop your character and mature you. He is perfecting those things that concern you (Psalm 138:8), so don’t become overwhelmed trying to do it all in one day or do it all by yourself. Ultimately, you will find joy, hope and comfort as a result of the character that only your Heavenly Father can develop in you. So throughout the process, be patient and appreciate that it is a by-product of God’s love for you. #YouAreLoved
