Jesus knew that we would be in need of help 🤚once He returned to Heaven. Like our Heavenly Father, He loves us unconditionally, and when He left earth and returned to Heaven, He did not abandon us. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit. The world isn’t privy to His presence in their lives, but we (as His children) are never alone because He is in us. He is our Helper while we are on earth. He brings things back to our remembrance, AND He’s our Comforter and Peace. You have no business. worrying or fearing because He lives IN you (1 Corinthians 6:19)! He is all you need.⁣⁣⁣⁣

We have our own POWERHOUSE inside of us. So, tap into that power - He’s there to help you, so go to Him first before consulting your intellect, emotions or other people (Proverbs 3:5-6). You were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20), but even after that purchase was made, you were deemed to be gifted with the Holy Spirit, so don’t forsake Him. Take advantage of all that your Helper was assigned to assist you with. #SpiritLed⁣

True wisdom comes from God. May godly wisdom and the fruit of the spirit bear witness in our lives so that we are better representatives of Christ. May it help us interact with others and allow the love of God to operate in our lives towards them. Thank you Lord for loving us enough to give us your wisdom and for the privilege of representing you here on earth!⁣

🙌 When we place our confidence in God and trust Him to lead our lives, we are cognizant of God’s love for us. The peace and joy that He’s given us access to is beyond our understanding (Philippians 4:7, Proverbs 3:5-6). He desires for our hearts to overflow with His love. Regardless of what’s going on around us, we can put our trust and hope in God. He anchors our souls when everything around us seems to be unstable. Our Father desires to lead our lives, give wisdom and bring peace of mind. May this bring joy to your heart today. God loves you.⁣⁣⁣

It’s comforting to know that if we have accepted Christ into our lives, we are privy to a loving relationship with our Heavenly Father, and He is a good, good Father! It is always His heart to provide all that His children need - spiritually, physically, financially and emotionally (Philippians 4:19); and He knows what we need before we ask. ⁣

Whether you’ve been blessed to have an earthly father in your life or not, be comforted with the fact that not only is He Father to the fatherless, but His love for you is authentic and it runs deep. He truly does desire the absolute best for you, and to comfort, encourage and lead your life, so let Him love, guide and protect you. ⁣⁣

There is no need to fear when the Lord is on your side (Romans 8:31). Those that put their confidence in their Heavenly Father not only please Him (Hebrews 11:6), but they are safe and protected by Him. Your dreams and well-being are covered in Him.⁣⁣

So remain faithful to Him. Keep your spirit man built up today, so that you stay closely connected to Him for direction throughout the day. Your Heavenly Father has you covered.⁣

Won’t you lighten your load this morning? God is willing and able to give you the strength that you need (physical, emotional, etc.) all while taking on any burdens you’ve been toting around as well! ⁣⁣⁣Unlike any “experienced” human hiking guide, our Heavenly Father has the ability to lead us and hold us up. With a steady arm, He firmly navigates us through any difficulties (inclines) during this hike that we call Life. Miraculously, He can also handle carrying any burdens, concerns or anxieties that we may have in the process, if we’ll just release them to Him. So, rest IN Him. #HesGotYou⁣⁣⁣

God is the firm and steady Rock that we can depend on. Regardless of what cares or concerns we may feel we have pressing us, we can lean on Him. Lord, our Redeemer, may we honor you with our words and thoughts today. Give us a new heart if that is what is needed to do so (Psalm 51:10). Thank you Lord for your love, faithfulness and compassion to us daily. 🙌🏼

🙌🏼 We were created by God for His glory, and yet in still, He loved us so much that He gave His all for us (John 3:16)! So, it’s only reasonable for us to love Him with everything that is in us. When we place and keep God at the throne of our hearts, we position ourselves for Him to move on our behalf, to direct the affairs of our lives, to give us wisdom, strength, favor and His peace. We honor Him and give Him glory by acknowledging Him in all of our ways every day of our lives. So, don’t let today be any different. Love Him and give Him the honor He is due. #HeIsWorthy⁣⁣

🙌 The Holy Spirit will help bring us understanding and revelation on the application of those instructions He’s given and how they apply to your life. There is literally no one else on this earth that has been equipped with the same gifts, talents, personalities, etc. that you have been, so thank God for the portion He has entrusted to you. Our citizenship is in Heaven, and so is our award when we faithfully serve Jesus. Never forget that God can and will give you divine insight and guidance on how to accomplish a task more efficiently and effectively. He will give you the right words to say (Proverbs 25:11) for any given situation AND give you favor when and where you need it. So, don’t lose sight of Who you represent. 😌 Even when we feel that we are confident in the path and purpose that we are walking in, it’s imperative that we take the time daily to check in with our Heavenly Father - the developer of that purpose - to ensure that our steps are still aligned. 📖 We are reminded in God’s Word to continue to place our confidence in God instead of our intelligence or experience. So trust in God’s plans for your life both in your day-to-day and long term interactions and planning. God is faithful, and He will establish and make sure His plans for your life. ⁣

✨MERRY CHRISTMAS✨ ⁣

DEC 2020 Devotional-18.gif

“So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.” -John 1:14⁣ ⁣⁣

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let us never forget the extensiveness of His love and faithfulness to us. Before we even knew the true state of our sinfulness in comparison to the holiness of our Creator, He counted us worthy and valuable enough to develop a plan to save us from our sins thousands of years ago, even before the birth of Christ through his prophet Isaiah. ⁣⁣

🙌 Praise and glory to God for His sending His Son Jesus to earth, so that we can be saved (John 3:16). Take time today to reflect on His love for you and what sacrifice that love moved Him to. Honor Him as His representative by sharing about His love and sacrifice with others. Merry CHRISTmas to you and yours!

🙏 ⁣⁣ As believers (followers of Christ), we should not only be concerned about sharing the Gospel, but we should have a desire to emulate His character and to honor Him in all we do. When we stay connected to God, following and remaining committed to Christ, we experience inner peace. While Jesus could have been boastful and harsh because of all His mighty exploits, He chose instead to walk in humility and to deal gently with our hearts. ⁣⁣God will renew and refresh our souls, if we’ll allow Him to transform us from the inside out and provide us with the peace that only He can provide (John 14:27). Rest IN Him. ⁣⁣⁣

We don’t have to continuously bump our heads because of bad decision-making. God has given us what we need to do the exact opposite, and He’s invited to come to Him in faith. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26), and He desires to give insight to us on the major AND even seemingly insignificant affairs of our life. This is so that our decision making can be wise and pleasing to our Heavenly Father. So remember today to: Pray…Pause…Wait for Direction, Then Act. ⁣⁣
