👀 As we see the day of our Lord’s return approaching, it’s important that we keep our eyes and hearts fixed and focused on our Heavenly Father and the Kingdom of God. We have the promise of God’s PERFECT peace in the face of any circumstance that we may face when are walking in God’s will for our lives. Our identity is IN Christ (1 Peter 2:9, Philippians 3:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17), and just as He has overcome the world, so have we! Just as He is victorious, so are we! The joy of the Lord is YOUR strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and it's by that strength, you are able to accomplish every task before you.⁣

🙌 Good morning! God has has blessed you with an entirely new set of mercies today. He is faithful and because of His faithfulness, we can put our hope in Him. He is consistent, and His heart towards us is compassionate. So never tire seeking God’s direction and/or walking in His purpose for your life. If you’ve missed the mark, His grace is sufficient; if you’ve hit it, it’s still only because of His grace. ⁣⁣

Trust your Heavenly Father’s leading of your life (Psalm 23, Isaiah 30:21). Your confidence in Him can be renewed afresh this morning and the next, just like his mercies. He is a good Father! ⁣⁣

☀️ RISE & SHINE! What are you facing this morning? Regardless of what it is (good or bad), realize that you are NOT facing it alone. So, the next time a negative thought tries to cross your mind about the “gravity” or weight of the circumstance, re-adjust your thinking and ask [God]: “What are WE facing today?” ⁣

Your response should be: Romans 8:31 (take a peek). Give it to God and be encouraged! God is with you! Nothing is too difficult for Him. Trust the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance and accept His peace (John 14:27). He is with you and will never abandon you. ⁣⁣

On this #ThrowBackThursday please remember that our Heavenly Father ALWAYS finishes what He starts. From the beginning of time, He has held the same reputation, and it will never change (Hebrews 13:8). ⁣⁣⁣

Check the first few chapters of Genesis. Even during creation, He completed what He started. He did not rest until it was all done (Genesis 2:2). Jesus didn’t come to us in the form of man, live 30+ years and then decide to abandon the assignment in the Garden of Gethsemane right before His prophesied crucifixion. God didn’t bring the Isrealites half-way out of Egypt or through the Red Sea. He brought them all the way out, vanquishing their enemy in the process…and, He’ll do the same for you. He will not abandon you, and everything that He has begun in you, He will complete it, IF you stick with Him. ⁣⁣⁣

We have a Good Heavenly Father! We don’t have to continuously bump our heads because of bad decision-making. God has given us what we need to do the exact opposite. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26), and He desires to give insight to us on even the seemingly insignificant affairs of our life. This is so that our decision making can be wise and pleasing to our Heavenly Father. So remember today to: Pray…Pause…Wait for Direction, Then Act. ⁣

We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, and part of the benefits of that relationship besides our salvation are the fruits of the spirit and the “unexplainable”peace of God that we have. In addition to that, commit today to recognize that it is God’s desire that we don’t exhaust our strength trying to make provision for the temporal things in this world. ⁣⁣Instead, it is His desire to turn our hearts and affections towards Heaven and the things that are really at the core of our Father’s heart (love, joy, peace, a desire for all men to be saved). ⁣⁣

The treasures that we have in store are invaluable and in no way comparable to any earthly one. Rejoice and find peace in that today.⁣ ⁣

Need a little POWER BOOST this Monday morning? Not only will God provide you with the strength to sustain you throughout the day today, He will also provide you with the protection and security that you need, whether physically or emotionally. Run to Him, sit in His presence and rest! No need to put up your guards, your heart is safe with Him (Psalm 91:2). ⁣⁣

He has already proven Himself to be a reliable place of shelter in the midst of the turmoils or busyness of life. You ARE divinely protected (Psalm 91:9-12). As you leave out of your home today (“earthly covering”) today, remember you have already stepped into "His shelter" in your mind and heart. ⁣⁣

🙏 When we stay connected to God, following and remaining committed to Christ, we experience inner peace. While Jesus could have been boastful and harsh because of all His mighty exploits, He chose instead to walk in humility and to deal gently with our hearts.

As believers or followers of Christ, we should not only be concerned about sharing the Gospel, but we should have a desire to emulate His character and to honor Him in all we do. God will renew and refresh our souls, if we’ll allow Him to transform us from the inside out and provide us with the peace that only He can provide. Rest IN Him. ⁣⁣

The Word of God always encourages us to trust God and not to lean to our own understanding, regardless of how knowledgeable we may think we are in the process of our decision-making (Proverbs 3:5-6). He desires to give us “skillful and godly wisdom” - insight that we may not have been privy to otherwise. So, stay connected into your Spiritual Headquarters by praying in the Spirit. It’s your Father’s desire to give you direction and guidance for your life as you seek His will and instructions. Put your confidence in Him⁣

Regardless of any circumstance that may come your way and regardless of how you may be disappointed by it or people, the fact still remains that our God is faithful! He is not a man that He can lie (Numbers 23:19). You can “take His Word to the bank”! So, commit to stand on His Word by your words, thoughts AND actions. His Word brings life, so keep it before your eyes (Proverbs 4:20-22). ⁣

Whatever He has promised, wherever He has directed you to, simply trust and obey that He will bring it to pass and that He knows best for your life. He is not a man that He can lie (Numbers 23:19) - He is faithful! The joy of the Lord is your strength, so walk boldly in obedience to whatever God has called you to. He will not leave you. The more time we spend in the presence of our Heavenly Father and meditate on His Word, the more we get to know Him better. Ultimately, this makes it easier to conform to His ways. He made us to be MORE than a conqueror (Romans 8:37), and He is our protection and covering, so we have nothing to fear (Psalm 91:4). If you need wisdom and direction, you have access to the Holy Spirit - your Helper (James 1:5). In and through the mighty power of God, you will find the strength you need to fulfill every task before you today (Ephesians 6:10, Philippians 4:13)! So hold your head up and walk humbly and confidently in the divine power that God has been given to you.⁣
