Continue to grow, learn and study the things of God, so that you develop spiritually everyday. Pray in tongues regularly so that the Holy Spirit - your Teacher - can instruct you and give wisdom and guidance where needed. What a merciful Father we serve! He wasn’t just interested in “saving” us, but after He did, He cared enough for us to perfect those things that concern us and use us for His will (Psalm 138:8)!⁣ He will guide your footsteps and provide insight where you need it.⁣

God is pleased when we wait and trust in Him expectantly (Hebrews 11:6). Whatever He has promised, wherever He has directed you to, simply trust and obey that He will bring it to pass and that He knows best for your life. He is not a man that He can lie (Numbers 23:19) - He is faithful! The joy of the Lord is your strength, so walk boldly in obedience to whatever God has called you to. Not only will it make God proud, but it will bring us favor both in His sight and in the sight of others. David’s reflections in the twenty third psalm expressed his conviction that the Lord desired to lead His children even in their personal lives. Shepherds LEAD their flock every step of the way. The Good Shepherd LEADS us beside peaceful streams (He doesn’t want us anxious or to fret about anything; He wants us to rest IN Him. Philippians 4:6). 

If you will allow Him, He will GUIDE you and direct your steps to walk in the will and purpose that He desires for your life (Psalm 37:23). Even when we may find ourselves going through tough times or in the presence of company that may have ill will toward us, our Good Shepherd gives us perfect peace and never leaves our side (John 14:27)!
