If God said it, that settles it. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “settle” as “to fix or resolve conclusively; to establish or secure permanently; to sink gradually or to the bottom; to come to rest." ⁣⁣

This offers us a colorful description of how we should receive any direction or leading from the Holy Spirit and every word that God has spoken to us through His Word [the Bible]. If He says that you are the righteousness of God, redeemed and set free, then that’s settles it. That IS who you are…period! If He says that He’s given you the victory and that you have favor with Him and man, then it’s settled, you do. ⁣

Walk in obedience and trust His direction every step of the way. It’s past time that we let it “sink in” and “go to the bottom” of our hearts and minds: IT’S SETTLED. 🗣 “I don’t need a Plan B, I can depend on God.” He is faithful, and His promises are sure (2 Corinthians 1:20). #ItsSettled #TrustGod AND #Rest⁣⁣⁣

Oftentimes, the path that we are on in life has already been “straightened” for us without us even being aware - So when you reflect on all that He’s blessed you with today, don’t forget about the things He’s removed from your path without you even being aware.
