DAILY DEVOTIONAL | October 21st

Rejoice! You’ve got something to be grateful for. Not only does the Lord give us strength, but it’s His desire to put a new song in our mouths (Psalm 40:3). Stir up the gift inside of you (by praying in tongues) and receive God’s wisdom, direction and song of gladness.⁣

The Lord is a shield of protection around you both physically and spiritually. So, be sure to give Him thanks and praises for His grace and love for you today. You are anointed to accomplish everything that He has instructed you to do and you can do ALL things through Christ (Philippians 4:13).⁣⁣⁣⁣

🙌🏼 We were created by God for His glory, and yet in still, He loved us so much that He gave His all for us (John 3:16)! So, it’s only reasonable for us to love Him with everything that is in us. When we place and keep God at the throne of our hearts, we position ourselves for Him to move on our behalf, to direct the affairs of our lives, to give us wisdom, strength, favor and His peace. We honor Him and give Him glory by acknowledging Him in all of our ways every day of our lives. So, don’t let today be any different. Love Him and give Him the honor He is due. #HeIsWorthy⁣⁣

May the wisdom of God flow from our lips today. God please put a watch over our mouths (Psalm 141:3) and show us how to answer every man. ⁣⁣⁣

🙏🗣 Thank you in advance, God, for showing me how to handle every situation that comes our way today so that we can better represent you as your ambassador.⁣⁣

When we accept God’s gift of salvation to us and fully surrender our lives to Him and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we position God to be able to lead our steps and direct our lives. We are His responsibility, and there is no detail too small or insignificant to Him.⁣

He has a unique purpose for your life and just like the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5), He desires to set you apart for His use. Don’t waste any more time worrying about the affairs of your life. God’s got you, and He’s sent the Holy Spirit - your Helper (John 14:26) - to help guide you every step of the way. Rest in Him and in His love for you. Commit to take the time to listen to your spirit man and trust His guidance in the affairs of your life everyday.

God’s love for us would be considered unfathomable by man’s standards. He gave His all and His best for us when He sacrificed His Son (John 15:13, 3:16). He set us apart and brought us out of darkness and into His Kingdom (Jeremiah 1:5, Hebrews 10:10-12), 1 Peter 2:9). He’s given us a new identity in His family and declared us royalty. He’s redeemed us from the curse of the law and remained steadfast in His plans for our lives being carried out in our lives from our very birth. God=Love Receive Him (His love) for you today. ❤️ ⁣⁣⁣

🙌 Good morning new mercies! Because of God’s faithfulness, we can can put our hope in Him. He is dependable and consistent, and His heart towards us is compassionate. So never tire seeking God’s direction and/or walking in His purpose for your life. If you’ve missed the mark, His grace is sufficient; if you’ve hit it, it’s still only because of His grace. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣Take the time to reflect on and thank God for His love for you this morning. Appreciate His “leading” in your life (Psalm 23, Isaiah 30:21). Because of God’s faithfulness to us, our hope and faith IN HIM can be renewed afresh this morning and the next, just like his mercies. He is a good Father! ⁣⁣

🙏🏼 May we represent you well today Father (Ephesians 2:19)! ⁣⁣⁣⁣

Struggling with thoughts of doubt over your purpose or the affairs of your life? Start your morning off right and give them to God right now. You can tell from David’s reflections in the twenty third psalm that He was convinced that the Lord desires to lead His children every step of the way in our personal lives. Shepherds LEAD their flock every step of the way. The Good Shepherd LEADS us beside peaceful streams (He doesn’t want us anxious or to fret about anything; He wants us to rest IN Him. Philippians 4:6). He GUIDES you and directs your steps to walk in the will and purpose that He desires for your life (Psalm 37:23). Even when we may find ourselves going through tough times or in the presence of company that is ill willed against us, our Good Shepherd gives us perfect peace and never leaves our side (John 14:27)!
Let God lead your life. He only desires the best for you (Psalm 139:17). So find comfort in His love for you today and don’t forget to stir up the gift by praying in tongues throughout the day.

Not only is His strength made perfect in our weakness, but He honors our obedience. He is pleased when we step out and trust Him even when circumstances are beyond our control, and we don’t quite understand how things will work out (Hebrews 11:6). Most importantly, when God gets the glory, and it is evident that it is Him and not ourselves that have accomplished a feat, it puts the focus on God. Then He closes the deal by drawing that man or woman’s heart to Himself; and that’s what it’s all about if we are His ambassadors here on earth, right? Be blessed!⁣⁣⁣

🗣Your words have POWER! Make a conscious effort today to speak life and not death over yourself, your family, friends and loved ones. Let your first words today be ones of thanksgiving to God for the gift of life this morning (1 Chronicles 16:34); but, make sure that before you think about the current circumstances of your life - good or bad - you examine what you say, if you should say anything at all. ⁣⁣

Ask God to guard the door of your mouth (Psalm 141:3). You are a child of the Most High God and redeemed from the curse of the law. Speak to your situation and confess positive things over your life. Think on good things (Philippians 4:8), then speak life. Remember again that your words frame your world! Have a blessed day.⁣⁣

🎯 Happy Monday! Our “Heavenly Father knows best" and only wants the best for His children. Commit to reflecting on His Word (the Bible) throughout the day. Not only does He desire for you to prosper, He desires for you to know His heart and succeed (Joshua 1:8). ⁣⁣⁣⁣

The more we hear the God’s Word, the easier it is for us to familiarize ourselves and connect to His heart. The more we hear His heart and desires and actually obey His instruction, the more our faith grows (Romans 10:17). The more our faith builds, the easier it is for us to walk and operate in it as a way of life, and when we do this, our Father is pleased and proud of us (Hebrews 11:6)! Walking in God’s unique purpose for YOUR life demands putting your confidence in Him completely. So stay connected to Him and practice hearing and obeying all that He’s instructed you to do. He loves you!⁣⁣

As believers in Christ, we have received a new identity, but have you truly embraced that identity? We belong to God, and our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). Our conversation, values and ways of doing things may appear to be foreign to this world the more we become like Christ and the fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in our lives. ⁣⁣⁣

Meditate on who and Whose you are and your confidence on the authority that you have IN Christ will grow. ⁣⁣⁣

The Holy Spirit will help bring understanding and revelation on the application of those instructions that He’s given and how they apply to your life. There is literally no one else on this earth that has been equipped with the same gifts, talents, personalities, etc. that you have been, so thank God for the portion He has entrusted to you and trust Him to perfect those things that concern you. ☀️ RISE & SHINE! What are you facing this morning? Regardless of what it is good or bad, realize that you are NOT facing it alone. So, the next time a negative thought tries to cross your mind about the “gravity” or weight of the circumstance, re-adjust your thinking and ask [God]: “What are WE facing today?” ⁣

Your response should be: Romans 8:31 (take a peek). Give it to God and be encouraged! God is with you! Nothing is too difficult for Him. Trust the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance and accept His peace (John 14:27). He is with you and will never abandon you. ⁣⁣

As believers, we experience a degree of freedom that is foreign to those who do not have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. We have been redeemed from the curse of the law, and it’s our Father’s desire for us to no longer be bound by shackles of sin. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣We are not bound to our past or present circumstance. We can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13) and because of that independence from our sin nature (in salvation - John 3:16). Trust His plans for your life are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Walk boldly and humbly in your freedom in Christ! ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
