DAILY DEVOTIONAL | November 24th

Another translation of this very same verse reads: “When I am filled with cares, Your comfort brings me joy.” (Psalm 94:19, CSB) There is no problem too hard for God and when we practice casting ALL of our cares over to Him, we will find that He replaces those feelings of worry and panic with joy!

Combat worry and anxiety by choosing to seek after God’s peace today and by actively receiving all the benefits that He offers us as His children.

What a simple yet impactful illustration for us to understand! This scripture makes it plain that we are to let our light shine so brightly for ALL to see that it causes others around us to take notice of God. Letting your light shine can be done through good deeds, out of a Christ-like heart for others. Maybe it’s paying for someone’s items at the register or taking on extra tasks to lighten a co-worker’s load. Whatever you do, make sure it’s not only done in excellence but for the sole purpose of always pointing people back to our Heavenly Father! He gets all of the glory for anything good done in our lives and we should always be aware of the opportunities that we have to show others that.

We’re challenging YOU today family, to find new and BOLD ways to shine!

Won’t you lighten your load this morning? God is willing and able to give you the strength that you need (physically, emotionally and spiritually) all while taking on any burdens you’ve been toting around as well! ⁣⁣⁣Unlike any “experienced” human hiking guide, our Heavenly Father has the ability to lead us and hold us up. With a steady arm, He firmly navigates us through any difficulties (inclines) during this hike that we call Life. Miraculously, He can also handle carrying any burdens, concerns or anxieties that we may have in the process, if we’ll just release them to Him. So, rest IN Him. #HesGotYou⁣⁣⁣⁣

God’s plan for our lives always has a greater purpose than we are naturally aware of. He is omniscient, and as a result, He knows the end from the beginning. So, commit your thought-life to God by trusting Him wholeheartedly. The more that we stay connected to our heavenly Father, the better we position ourselves for God to move in our lives and for Him to lead us were He wants us as His ambassadors. Trust that He knows best for your life. ⁣⁣

Tap into your power source today (yes, even over the weekend 😆). You can do that by praying in tongues and by remembering that God will supply you with any and everything that you need to accomplish His purpose: internal or external strength, peace, wisdom and more! Leave any burdens you may have with God, He handle them; just never forget that your sufficiency doesn’t lie in your intellect, your connections or your bank account. You have all that you need in Christ alone.⁣

As believers in Christ, we have received a new identity, but have you truly embraced that identity? We belong to God, and our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). Our conversation, values and ways of doing things may appear to be foreign to this world the more we become like Christ and the fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in our lives. ⁣⁣⁣Meditate on who and Whose you are and your confidence on the authority that you have IN Christ will grow. ⁣⁣⁣

Can you believe we’re half way through the week? Let’s be diligent about continuing (or starting) in choosing our words wisely today. They have power! Speak life and not death over yourself, your family, friends and loved ones. Let your first words today be ones that express your gratefulness to God for the gift of life this morning (1 Chronicles 16:34); and make sure that before you think about the current circumstances of your life - good or bad, you examine what you say. ⁣⁣

Ask God to guard the door of your mouth (Psalm 141:3). You are a child of the Most High God and redeemed from the curse of the law. Remember: your words frame your world! Think on good things (Philippians 4:8), then speak life to your circumstance. Have a blessed day.⁣⁣⁣

🙏 Prayer is the privilege that we have as believers to go to our Heavenly Father - the Creator of the universe - and have a conversation with Him. It’s an opportunity to bring our petitions and every circumstance to God, to see how in reality when we match them up to our omnipotent, holy, merciful God, just how petty our problems are in comparison to Him.

It’s our chance to show our gratitude for all that He has done and to walk in faith by thanking Him in advance for what He will do in our future. Have you taken advantage of this “benefit” of your personal relationship with God today? If not, come to Him boldly and with expectancy. He is more than able to fulfill everything that He desires in your life, so put all of your confidence in Him, seek His wisdom, accept His peace and…REST. ⁣

Not only will He give you the strength to follow-through (Philippians 4:13) on any task/responsibilities you have in front of you, but He also perfects your faith to achieve it. Jesus is the ultimate Role Model on what it means to have a goal that you stick too regardless of any level of discomfort of sacrifice because of the end goal and the happiness you will have after achieving it. Trust God for the strength and discipline that is needed, whether they are regarding you walking in your purpose or more practical goals. God loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die for our sin. He took the penalty that we had justly placed on us because of the sin nature of mankind. So, if you’ve been abandoned, unworthy, lacking courage, fearful, let this be a reminder of the substitute the Jesus became just for you! He took your sentence, and you have been redeemed (Ephesians 1:7)!

When you became born again, he changed you from the inside out. Not only are you no longer bound by sin (Romans 4:16), but you are victorious and more than a conqueror. You’ve been set apart and marked as His child. You no longer are defined by your previous identity BC (before Christ). You are kings/priests and have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). You have been blessed with the opportunity to be Christ’s ambassadors, so rejoice! Let your actions and attitude reflect your awareness of His love for you. You are loved!⁣

☀️ Good morning! Have a request? Just like the psalmist David, we can give our requests to God and expect that God will answer us. In fact, we can put our confidence in the fact that if those request please and honor Him, that He will not only heart those prayers, but He will answer them (1 John 5:14-15, Isaiah 65:24, John 14:14) . So, remove any doubt, unforgiveness and ask God to reveal any other hindrances. Then wait patiently on God. You can depend on the Lord. He will never fail you! Rest IN Him this morning. Have a great day and rest of your weekend!⁣⁣

We have the privilege of being God’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20) - His hands and feet here on earth. 👣 So commit to walk in excellence as you complete every task that you put your hands (and feet) to today. Our citizenship is in Heaven, and so is our award when we faithfully serve Jesus. Keep in mind that God can and will give you divine insight and guidance on how to accomplish a task more efficiently and effectively. He will give you the right words to say (Proverbs 25:11) for any given situation AND give you favor when and where you need it. So, don’t lose sight of Who you represent. He’s got your back, but it brings Him great joy when you represent Him accurately and allow Him to lead you. #MakeHimProud⁣⁣

This passage of Scripture offers colorful instruction on how we should receive any direction or leading from the Holy Spirit and every word that God has spoken to us through His Word [the Bible]. If He says that you are the righteousness of God, redeemed and set free, then that’s settles it: that IS who you are…NEXT! If He says that He’s given you the victory and that you have favor with Him and man, then it’s settled. Walk in obedience and trust His direction every step of the way. We must accept in our hearts and minds that IT’S SETTLED. 🗣 “I don’t need a Plan B. I can depend on God. He is faithful, and His promises are sure (2 Corinthians 1:20).”

God’s love for us would be considered unfathomable by man’s standards. He gave His all and His best for us when He sacrificed His Son (John 15:13, 3:16). He set us apart and brought us out of darkness and into His Kingdom (Jeremiah 1:5, Hebrews 10:10-12), 1 Peter 2:9). He’s given us a new identity in His family and declared us royalty. He’s redeemed us from the curse of the law and remained steadfast in His plans for our lives being carried out in our lives from our very birth. God=Love Receive Him (His love) for you today. ❤️ ⁣⁣⁣
