DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 15th

God wants to receive glory from every area of our lives. We should desire the same thing. There should not be any area of our lives that displeases God. The things we say, the things we do, the shows we watch on television, the music we listen to--everything in our lives should please and glorify God. There are no perfect people, but we should be striving to please God in all that we do. We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. When the world looks at us, there should be a difference. This is not a message of condemnation, just a simple reminder that our lives are not our own. We should aim to please the One, who redeemed us and set us free from the hand of the enemy. Let's examine our lives, and if adjustments are necessary, let's ask the Spirit of God for His help as we strive to live a life that is pleasing unto Him.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 14th

God has a plan for your life. It is a good plan. He tells us in His Word that He knows the thoughts that He has towards us: “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). As we seek first the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things, the things that the rest of the world is chasing, will come to you. It reminds us of the Scripture that tells us that when we diligently obey God’s commandments, the blessings will come upon us and overtake us (Deuteronomy 28: 1-2).

God doesn’t want us to worry or fret about the necessities of life. Earlier in the chapter, Jesus tells us to consider the ravens. The ravens do not sow or reap. They do not gather or store anything and yet our heavenly Father takes care of them. If God will take care of the birds, then God will take care of you. Put your trust in God and His Word, He will never let you down when you do.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 13th

When we find ourselves in difficult situations, God wants us to go to Him. There isn’t one problem that doesn’t have a solution. Man may not have the answer. The answer may be beyond man’s comprehension or wisdom. What may be an impossibility with man is not an impossibility with God. There is absolutely nothing too hard for Him.

As believers, we have access to the riches of the Wisdom of God. The wisdom of God can handle any situation or any problem. What may be big in your eyes, is never big in the eyes of God. Everything is easy for God. The Bible tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can go to God and receive wisdom from God. There is one catch, you must ask in faith. You cannot waver, and you cannot be double-minded. That type of person cannot receive anything from God (James 1: 5-8).  If you need any type of help, go to God. He is always ready and willing to assist you.

God wants us to look to Him for everything, including promotion. That is one reason why we must commit our lives to Him.  God knows when we are ready for promotion. He knows when we are at a point, where we can handle the responsibilities and all of the things that come with the promotion. When God elevates a person, no man can stop it. No man can hinder or restrain when God is at work.  Stay faithful where you are and work as unto the Lord.  As you do, you can cease in self-promotion and know that God will magnify you in His timing.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 11th

God created man in His image and in His likeness. In Genesis 1, we see that God uses His words to create what He desired. Since man is created in God’s image, man is capable of operating the same way. We can create what we desire through our words. Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that we can have what we say if we don’t doubt it in our hearts. Because we control the words that we use, we must be satisfied with the consequences of our words (Proverbs 18:20 AMPC).  If we are unhappy with what we see, we must change what we say. Like our heavenly Father, we can call those things that benot as though they were (Romans 4:17). Instead of complaining about our circumstances, let's use our words to change our circumstances.

As you enter into this brand new week, remember this: God, your Creator (Inventor) has created you for His own unique purpose and plans. Even the thought of you brought Him joy (v.17), so don’t grow weary of taking the time to review His Instruction Manual for your operation (assignment) here on earth. ⁣⁣⁣

🙌 The Holy Spirit will help bring us understanding and revelation on the application of those instructions He’s given and how they apply to your life. Jesus knew that we would be in need of help 🤚once He returned to Heaven. Like our Heavenly Father, He loves us unconditionally, and when He left earth and returned to Heaven, He did not abandon us. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit. The world isn’t privy to His presence in their lives, but we (as His children) are never alone because He is in us. He is our Helper while we are on earth. He brings things back to our remembrance, AND He’s our Comforter and Peace. You have no business. worrying or fearing because He lives IN you (1 Corinthians 6:19)! 🙌 When we place our confidence in God and trust Him to lead our lives, we are cognizant of God’s love for us. The peace and joy that He’s given us access to is beyond our understanding (Philippians 4:7, Proverbs 3:5-6). He desires for our hearts to overflow with His love. Regardless of what’s going on around us, we can put our trust and hope in God. He anchors our souls when everything around us seems to be unstable. Our Father desires to lead our lives, give wisdom and bring peace of mind. May this bring joy to your heart today. God loves you.⁣⁣⁣

Your Heavenly Father clearly demonstrated His love and grace through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. It’s nothing that we did in and of ourselves, but through our salvation in Jesus, we have the freedom to live and walk around justified in God’s eyes. Not only do we have the gift of eternal life, but we have the benefit of having an actual relationship with Him and the privilege of receiving direction and comfort through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. ⁣⁣

So, don’t lose sight of the benefits of that relationship. God’s love for you is profound (John 15:13), and He desires for you to live victoriously in life. Just trust Him for direction and favor and be sure to give Him the glory every step of the way. ⁣⁣⁣

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 3rd

🙌 Good morning new mercies! God has has blessed you with an entirely new set of them today. Yes…He is faithful and because of His faithfulness, we can be faith FULL; we can put our hope in Him. He is dependable and consistent, and His heart towards us is compassionate. So never tire seeking God’s direction and/or walking in His purpose for your life. If you’ve missed the mark, His grace is sufficient; if you’ve hit it, it’s still only because of His grace. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🤔 Take time to reflect on and thank God for His love for you this morning. Because of God’s faithfulness to us, our hope and faith IN HIM can be renewed afresh this morning and the next, just like his mercies. He is a good Father! May we represent you and the family well today (Ephesians 2:19)! ⁣⁣

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 2nd

👂What have your ears been tuned into lately? It’s important for us as ambassadors of Christ to be tuned into the “skillful and godly wisdom” that only God can provide. An ambassador aims to carry out the wishes of the leadership and country that he or she is representing. So, in the same regard, we should be eager to ensure that we have clear instruction and discernment on how to handle the affairs of our lives instead of yielding to our own intellect (Proverbs 3:5-6). ⁣⁣

🙌 Never lose sight of the fact that we serve a good God and Father, and He’s more than wiling and happy to give us HIS wisdom when we ask Him in faith. So, make sure you stay in tune and in communication with your homeland (the Kingdom of God) and its leader (your Heavenly Father). SN: Praying in the Holy Spirit is the “tuning” device to help ensure your signal is clear.⁣⁣⁣

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 1st

As we start afresh in 2022 --- a new year, and a new opportunity to experience the faithfulness of God—let’s not forget the importance of taking the time to seek wisdom from our Heavenly Father. Sometimes, in the process of our decision-making, we unconsciously check in with our intellect and “experience” before we do with the very One who created the brain that curates our intellect and affects our past experiences. He is ALL-knowing and therefore privy to information that we are not. ⁣⁣⁣

So, don’t hastily make important decisions out of anxiety or fear over a lack of time. Our God is the Author of time, but He is not subject to it. So, commit to trusting God and making a conscious effort today to check in with your spirit before moving forward on any serious decision. He loves you and can give you divine insight, wisdom and favor when and where you need it. Trust and obey Him, and you will pave the way for Him to work on your behalf. 🙌⁣⁣⁣

God’s plan for our lives always has a greater purpose than we are naturally aware of. He is omniscient, and as a result, He knows the end from the beginning. So, commit your thought-life to God by trusting Him wholeheartedly. The more that we stay connected to our heavenly Father, the better we position ourselves for God to move in our lives and for Him to lead us were He wants us as His ambassadors. It’s fruitless to worry and fear about tomorrow and our well being, when we are in the care and responsibility of such a loving and protective Heavenly Father (Matthew 6:25-27). He loves you unconditionally and gave His very best [His Son Jesus], as a result. Nothing can separate you from His love and nothing and no one is more powerful than He. He has ALL power!⁣

Salvation is a gift to us, but it’s the gift that keeps on giving. He loads us with benefits, His peace and favor DAILY. So rest in His love for you and commit your life afresh to Him today. It’s our reasonable service considering all He’s given.⁣

We face limitations when we place our dependency on the wisdom and intellect of man. It is still God’s desire for us to put ALL of our faith in Him. After all, the fear and reverence of God is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7), right? We cannot access true wisdom - Godly wisdom - without God. God is all powerful. There’s nothing too hard for Him, and no one who can stand against Him (Romans 8:31). So, instead, trust God for His wisdom, wait for His guidance and place your confidence in Him. #HeIsAble⁣

Like Paul (the author of the book of Galatians), let us commit to being servants and ambassadors of Christ. Regardless of whether we are accepted by man, we can find joy and comfort in the fact that the Creator of the universe has approved you and called you His own. As you represent Him and commit to obeying His will and directions for your life, He will give you the peace, favor and comfort that you need. Let Him lead your life.⁣
