DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 22nd

With so much turmoil in the world today, isn’t it wonderful to know that we can have peace in the midst of everything that is going on around us? We can have peace because we have a covenant with Almighty God. God says He would never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). As long as we keep our minds on His promises, we can walk in peace. As we commit ourselves to God, we can trust Him to take care of everything that concerns us. We can be like Jesus in Mark 4. A storm arose while He and His disciples were on a boat trying to get to their destination. Instead of worrying and crying out in fear like the disciples, Jesus was asleep. Regardless of the storms we face in life, we can go to sleep, knowing that God is taking care of things. Cast your care on the Lord, and when you do, you can have the peace of God that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 21st

No matter what we face in life, we can face it with joy. Joy is one of the fruits of the spirit listed in Galatians 5.  The fruit of joy allows us to sustain a joyful countenance in the face of any storm. We can always have joy in our hearts because we know that whatever we are facing is temporary, or subject to change. The Word of God tells us to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). When our eyes are on the promises of God and not our circumstances, it's easy to have joy. We have joy because it's just a matter of time before our circumstances line up with the Word of God. Don’t let the enemy steal your joy. Allow the joy of the Lord to strengthen you and sustain and know that victory is on the way.

God has not given us the spirit of fear. The Bible tells us that fear has torment (1 John 4:18). Fear is a spiritual force that the devil uses to torment us and bring to pass things in our lives that are undesirable. Fear is the opposite of faith. Just like faith brings God on the scene, fear brings Satan on the scene. You cannot be in both fear and faith. Let's stay in faith today. Let's believe God’s Word and put our trust in Him. When your trust is in God, it's hard to worry about anything. When you have cast your cares on the Lord, you know that He has your problem and that He knows how to take care of every situation that you face. Don’t allow fear to run your life. Tell it to go in Jesus’ Name. Put your trust in God and know that He will come through for you.

Isn’t this a wonderful Scripture? To know that if we ask anything according to the will of God (the Word of God), we can know that God not only hears us, but we know that we have the very thing that we are asking for. 2 Peter 1:4, tells us that God “has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness”. Anything that you have need of pertains to life and there is a promise in the Word that covers your situation. We must study the Word, and we must be knowledgeable of the Word in order to know what God has said about the matter. One thing that we can count on is that the promises of God in Him are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). God has already said yes to all His promises, the key is to know what He has said and then to stand on His promises. Once you have prayed according to the Word of God, you can then rest assured knowing that it's just a matter of time before you experience the fulfillment of that promise in your life.

🙌 God has literally given you all that you need to live your life victoriously! The more time we spend “at His feet” and meditating on His Word, we get to know Him better thus making it easier to conform to His ways. He sent His Son Jesus so that you could be reconciled with Him, delivered and set free from any sickness, disease, bondage or baggage.

He’s made you MORE than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). He is your protection and covering, so you have nothing to fear (Psalm 91:4). If you need wisdom and direction, you have access to the Holy Spirit - your Helper - and you only have to ask Him (James 1:5). In and through the mighty power of God, you will find the strength you need to fulfill every task before you today (Ephesians 6:10, Philippians 4:13)! So hold your head up and walk humbly and confidently in the divine power that God has been given you on this #TerrificTuesday!⁣

If you know the story of Joseph, then you know that he endured a lot. He was sold into slavery by his brothers. He was accused of a crime that he did not commit. This false claim caused Joseph to have to serve several years in prison. But despite all that Joseph endured, he was eventually promoted and became second-in-command over all of Egypt. Pharoah gave Joseph his daughter, and eventually Joseph would have two sons. He named his firstborn Manasseh as a reminder that God can turn your life around. God can bless you to the point where you forget all the hard times. He can cause you to forget about the obstacles and the hindrances. God knows how to restore your fortunes. He did it for Joseph. He did it for Job, and if you stay in faith, and keep your eyes on God, He will do it for you.

Diligence is a key to success in life. We must be diligent about the calling that God has placed on our lives.  Our diligence will determine who we stand in front of. The more diligent we are, the more we will stand in the presence of significant people. If we choose to be negligent in our business, we are choosing a life of insignificance. As we become more, our lives become more. As we change, things around us change. As we continue to be diligent in our business, we can expect to not only stand before kings, but we will begin to live like kings. Our quality of life will change. Everything in our lives can be better, if we will make the decision to become more diligent about the things that God has called us to.

God wants to receive glory from every area of our lives. We should desire the same thing. There should not be any area of our lives that displeases God. The things we say, the things we do, the shows we watch on television, the music we listen to--everything in our lives should please and glorify God. There are no perfect people, but we should be striving to please God in all that we do. We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. When the world looks at us, there should be a difference. This is not a message of condemnation, just a simple reminder that our lives are not our own. We should aim to please the One, who redeemed us and set us free from the hand of the enemy. Let's examine our lives, and if adjustments are necessary, let's ask the Spirit of God for His help as we strive to live a life that is pleasing unto Him.

God has a plan for your life. It is a good plan. He tells us in His Word that He knows the thoughts that He has towards us: “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). As we seek first the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things, the things that the rest of the world is chasing, will come to you. It reminds us of the Scripture that tells us that when we diligently obey God’s commandments, the blessings will come upon us and overtake us (Deuteronomy 28: 1-2).

God doesn’t want us to worry or fret about the necessities of life. Earlier in the chapter, Jesus tells us to consider the ravens. The ravens do not sow or reap. They do not gather or store anything and yet our heavenly Father takes care of them. If God will take care of the birds, then God will take care of you. Put your trust in God and His Word, He will never let you down when you do.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 13th

When we find ourselves in difficult situations, God wants us to go to Him. There isn’t one problem that doesn’t have a solution. Man may not have the answer. The answer may be beyond man’s comprehension or wisdom. What may be an impossibility with man is not an impossibility with God. There is absolutely nothing too hard for Him.

As believers, we have access to the riches of the Wisdom of God. The wisdom of God can handle any situation or any problem. What may be big in your eyes, is never big in the eyes of God. Everything is easy for God. The Bible tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can go to God and receive wisdom from God. There is one catch, you must ask in faith. You cannot waver, and you cannot be double-minded. That type of person cannot receive anything from God (James 1: 5-8).  If you need any type of help, go to God. He is always ready and willing to assist you.

God wants us to look to Him for everything, including promotion. That is one reason why we must commit our lives to Him.  God knows when we are ready for promotion. He knows when we are at a point, where we can handle the responsibilities and all of the things that come with the promotion. When God elevates a person, no man can stop it. No man can hinder or restrain when God is at work.  Stay faithful where you are and work as unto the Lord.  As you do, you can cease in self-promotion and know that God will magnify you in His timing.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 11th

God created man in His image and in His likeness. In Genesis 1, we see that God uses His words to create what He desired. Since man is created in God’s image, man is capable of operating the same way. We can create what we desire through our words. Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that we can have what we say if we don’t doubt it in our hearts. Because we control the words that we use, we must be satisfied with the consequences of our words (Proverbs 18:20 AMPC).  If we are unhappy with what we see, we must change what we say. Like our heavenly Father, we can call those things that benot as though they were (Romans 4:17). Instead of complaining about our circumstances, let's use our words to change our circumstances.

Jesus knew that we would be in need of help 🤚once He returned to Heaven. Like our Heavenly Father, He loves us unconditionally, and when He left earth and returned to Heaven, He did not abandon us. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit. The world isn’t privy to His presence in their lives, but we (as His children) are never alone because He is in us. He is our Helper while we are on earth. He brings things back to our remembrance, AND He’s our Comforter and Peace. You have no business. worrying or fearing because He lives IN you (1 Corinthians 6:19)! 🙌 When we place our confidence in God and trust Him to lead our lives, we are cognizant of God’s love for us. The peace and joy that He’s given us access to is beyond our understanding (Philippians 4:7, Proverbs 3:5-6). He desires for our hearts to overflow with His love. Regardless of what’s going on around us, we can put our trust and hope in God. He anchors our souls when everything around us seems to be unstable. Our Father desires to lead our lives, give wisdom and bring peace of mind. May this bring joy to your heart today. God loves you.⁣⁣⁣

Your Heavenly Father clearly demonstrated His love and grace through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. It’s nothing that we did in and of ourselves, but through our salvation in Jesus, we have the freedom to live and walk around justified in God’s eyes. Not only do we have the gift of eternal life, but we have the benefit of having an actual relationship with Him and the privilege of receiving direction and comfort through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. ⁣⁣

So, don’t lose sight of the benefits of that relationship. God’s love for you is profound (John 15:13), and He desires for you to live victoriously in life. Just trust Him for direction and favor and be sure to give Him the glory every step of the way. ⁣⁣⁣
