VCC Church Makes A Genuine Connection with Local Community Members during its Bi-Annual GIVEAWAY DAY!

On Saturday, July 16th, 2022 in the parking lot of its Victory Youth Building, Victory Christian Center Church hosted its bi-annual Giveaway Day, and boy was it a success!

Many of the residents from the local communities showed up and were so surprised and grateful that they were able to receive so many valuable household items for FREE! They were in disbelief!

As the residents shopped through the items, many of them were compelled to express their gratitude and some even requested prayer for themselves and their families.

We were honored for the opportunity to serve our community by being the Lord’s hands and feet and sharing the generosity of our loving Father with the nearby community surrounding the church!

We’re looking forward to doing it again! Stay tuned for more updates on the details of our next Giveaway Day and THANK YOU to all the VCC Church members who helped make this special day such a tremendous success!

Guest Speaker Janet Boynes Tells All in Motivating Speech During SNBC

On Sunday, July 10, 2022, Victory Christian Center Church hosted guest speaker Janet Boynes - the founder of Janet Boynes Ministries, a Christian organization that helps those who are trapped in a homosexual lifestyle, but want to be set free - during Sunday Night Bible Class. There was a great turnout as always, when Victory Christian Center Church opens its doors to its members.

Janet Boynes shared her story of growing up in a broken home, experiencing abuse by her parents, having a homosexual sibling, and being sexually assaulted in her own home as a child. As she continued to share she walked us through her journey of what it was like being a woman who needed the attention that she was deprived of as a child, and how that led her to become attracted to another woman in her adulthood. Transparently, she shared the struggle of being a woman who dressed like a man and how it was still hard to break that habit after she had answer the Lord’s call for her to return to Him.

Her motivating speech brought insight into the best ways to relate and communicate with those who are trapped in a homosexual lifestyle without pushing them away and encouraging them to stay in bondage. She encourages all believers everywhere to be bold and to take a stand regarding this conversation and to shine the light of Christ by demonstrating His love to them, taking them under our wing, and discipling them so they can learn a new way to live!

The Crowd Goes Wild at the 2022 VCC Ladies Fun Night!

Victory Christian Center Church hosted an event just for the ladies earlier this month on the eve of July 8, 2022 in the Victory Youth Building known for it’s fun and exciting events that are hosted regularly on the premises. It was an epic Friday night that brought women of 3 different generations together in one place for a night of fun and fellowship among fellow sisters in Christ!

The event was for members only and the turnout was amazing! The event opened up with fellowship at the tables and chairs set up with designated games such as jinga, uno, phase 10, and checkers at each table. There were also arcade games and pool tables made available for the ladies to engage in and participate in the various tournaments that resulted in prize winners who won the prize money!

Shortly after the formal welcome, prayer, and introduction of all the points of contact who were there to serve the ladies, it was time to enjoy a delicious meal! Cheese and crackers, fruit, potato salad, various flavors of pizza and wings, as well as scrumptious snacks, deserts, and soft drinks were served to the ladies! It didn’t take long for some of the ladies with a heart to serve to jump in a volunteer with distributing the food to the long line of hungry ladies!

Throughout the night, there were several different exciting signature games being hosted in various areas of the building. One was a Bible verse game held in the game room that got the ladies cheering and on the edge of their seats! Another was the free throw contest in the gym where VCCS alumnus Latasha Smith won the battle by a wipeout with ease and very little effort! And the crowd goes wild!!! 🎉🎊

Shortly after the featured contests were completed and all the prize winners received their money, the volleyball tournament began and those ladies didn’t come to play around. The competition was on as they bumped, set, and spiked their way to victory (or defeat) during what turned out to be a very impressive and exciting game. The ladies of Victory, know how to get down - pun intended!

The evening closed out with Karaoke as the clock rounded near 11pm. Karaoke hostess - Wendy Chaplin, had the audience roaring with her comedic comments, as she introduced the line-up of Karaoke singers. The ladies shut the house down. Some new anointed verses were discovered as we worshipped together before the night was over.

The ladies of Victory ended the night with a praise party as they danced their way out the doors and ran to their vehicles before the rain started. Ain’t no party like a Holy Ghost Party, cuz a Holy Ghost party don’t stop! And that’s the best way to wrap up this years report on the 2022 Ladies Fun Night event at VCC Church! We hope to host another Ladies Fun Night sometime within the next 8 years (seeing that it’s been about that long since the last event…), lol NO SHADE VCC - the best is yet to come!

This Year's LOV Ladies Luncheon Makes A Massive Historical IMPACT!

This year’s Ladies of Victory Luncheon held on June 25th in the Victory Youth Building, had an amazing turnout! The event was sold out weeks before the date of the event and the waitlist was substantial! The ladies of Victory were present in full swing at this packed-out event!

It was wonderful to see the ladies from both our main campus at the dome, and from our uptown campus at Church in the City comingling and fellowshipping together as one! All the ladies together painted a beautiful picture of Christ’s faithful bride responding to His invitation to be fed, nurtured, and pampered by her Bridegroom – the King!

And what a royal event it was! All the ladies looked beautiful as they were dressed to impress for this unique occasion, and the food was amazing! The Cranberry Chicken salad on a croissant bun was delicious, and there was a long line for the Grilled Salmon Salad which looked amazing! Most ladies found it hard to choose between all the decadent entrées and desserts that were available that day!

The perfect guest speaker was booked for the event as well! Only God could have orchestrated for Catherine Davis, the President of the Restoration project, an organization dedicated to rebuilding families, promoting the sanctity of life and transforming public policy and culture’s impact on the black community, to speak at the event on the day after Roe vs. Wade was overturned!

We give God all the glory for the powerful message that was shared with the audience and for the ladies who responded to the invitation to receive prayer for healing and deliverance from past abortions! God is moving mightily during these end times, and we are so honored to get to partner with Him as He ushers in His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven!

We look forward to hosting more powerful events in the near future so stay tuned here for more reports on the many ways we at VCC Church are fulfilling our mission of touching and changing lives for the glory of God!
