There are issues common to every ethnic group. Then there are issues unique to each group. This series focuses on issues unique to the black community, especially the subject of life beginning in the womb. Many challenges in the black community have been either ignored or offered non-productive solutions, thus perpetuating problems and even making them worse. Some things are not properly addressed in the black community because of ignorance about the subjects. When people have a view because they are told what to believe and never see the truth, it hinders them from acting in a way to stop detrimental practices. We cannot band together to make things better if we do not even know the fundamentals of the problems we face. Once we see the truth, we can strategize on solutions and make things better. So, let’s start with education about what has happened and is currently happening in the black community that needs attention.
