Psalm 91:11-13 NKJV
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
Psalm 91 has one of the scriptures that lets us know angels are active on our behalf. There has been an increase in supernatural activity, from people of all ages suddenly experiencing the presence of God while they are alone to rainbows appearing where there was no rain and a fiery pillar connecting Heaven to a tent crusade. Chase after the Lord and don’t miss out. Ask. Seek. Knock - not just to chase after the supernatural, but to chase after a deeper relationship with the Lord. The supernatural will happen as you draw closer to Him.
A few nights ago, I dreamt a snake that appeared to be a cobra suddenly popped up in my bed. I reacted quickly and began to shout at it. I realized I could not fight well where I was, so I jumped out of bed to get in a better position. My husband heard my shout and a loud noise as I hit the floor in the natural realm. I woke up. The strange, supernatural thing that happened was that I was on the floor in a sitting position ready to fight. It is impossible to fall out of a bed which was high up and land in such a position. Not only was my position impossible, but I felt not one slight bit of soreness that would be normal from a fall. Even if only for a moment, anyone would feel the impact of a fall from a bed, unless it was very low. My husband and I marveled at what we were seeing. In order for that to happen, I had to be carried by angels and cushioned when I hit the ground!
So what is the mystery behind the dream? The snake in the bed represents spiritual warfare involving someone I have some type of relationship with. The sudden appearance shows it is unexpected. The getting in position to fight instead of running away indicates my spirit was built up so I expected victory. The supernatural positioning on the floor is a fulfillment of Psalm 91:11-12. Angels are active on my behalf and the Lord has me covered. No worries! I must stay vigilant and react with a consciousness of the supernatural on my side. As my husband titled a sermon recently, we must FIGHT, STAND, WIN!
