Day 165
Psalm 33:18,19
“Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.”
Do we hear the Word of the Lord through the psalmist? If we listen carefully and allow our spirit and minds to absorb what the Spirit of God is saying, our faith will be boosted, and our fears will scatter.
The eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him. God’s eye does not miss anything. It is constantly on those who fear Him and hope in His mercy. All who reverence God and realize the need for His mercy and depend on it will not be disappointed. God not only watches them, but He also watches them to deliver them. He delivers them from death and enables them to survive in the midst of famine. Our Father makes a way for us all the time. He sees everything and watches wit ha purpose. He takes excellent care of what belongs to Him.
Let us make sure we stay in a position to receive God’s deliverance and care. We must continually reverence Him, meaning we should be obedient with a positive attitude. Then, we must believe in His mercy and look for it.
I will reverence the Lord at all times. I will believe in and look for His mercy.
