Oftentimes, when we see this verse, we automatically remind ourselves of the importance of not talking as much as we do as well as listen. However, this practice is also just as important in our relationship with Him. God wants to lead your life, and one of the ways we allow Him to do just that is to entrust our mind and emotions do Him as well by letting Him take the lead.
Practice praying in tongues today and making a conscious effort to follow this command. It will curate the opportunity for God to speak wisdom to your spirit in different areas before you open your mouth. It may also save you embarrassment, time and resources.
