In most circles, when one is encouraged to “humble” themselves, there are often negative connotations associated with the act. However, as children of God, when we “lower” ourselves, we take on the perfect position and posture for our Heavenly Father to elevate us - not necessarily, just in the eye’s of man, but also in our way of thinking and understanding. He can elevate our entire way of life (spiritually, physically, financially and emotionally) because His ways are higher than ours. He knows what we don't (Isaiah 55:8-9).
When we cast the weight of any anxieties, concerns and sometimes even pride (thinking we know best) on God, we’ll find each and EVERY TIME that our Father knows best. Good or bad, the circumstances in your life are a light thing to Him. It didn’t take Him by surprise. His eyes are on you, and He hasn’t forgotten you or IT. He loves you…period. So, just accept that fact. Trust Him for wisdom, accept His peace and rest [in your mind and emotions]. #HesGotYou
