God’s compassion and love for us is consistent and it never comes up short! In fact [as His child], it’s comforting to know that His patience causes Him to award us with a fresh new set of mercies every morning. So, no matter what it looks like, whether you’ve felt you’ve failed recently or whether you’ve felt that you’ve done fairly well, don’t forget that it is only by His grace. It’s only by those mercies. Place your confidence in Him and KEEP your spirit man built up throughout the day so that you know His voice. Then follow His leading. You are not an after thought.
