📖 “For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”; “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.” –Psalm 30:5; 126:5 NKJV

The Lord never leaves us or forsakes us because we belong to Him. However, our disobedience can separate us from Him to the degree that we do not experience His favor. God’s love and mercy cause Him to give us avenues of repentance so He can restore our joy and fellowship. Consider Proverbs 3:11-12 NLT - “My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights". It is a parental thing. God is a good Father. We may weep through the night as we come back in alignment with God's Word and will, but He will always restore our joy. His love will never fail us. If we sow tears of repentance, we will reap a harvest of joy. Godly sorrow leads to repentance, and tears of repentance lead to joy. Turn your tears into tears of joy! You are loved!
