God has blessed all of us with gifts and talents. The development of those gifts and talents will determine whom we stand before in life. When an evil spirit was tormenting Saul, one of his men spoke up and recommended David because of his ability to play the harp. From that time on, when Saul was tormented, David would play for Saul, and Saul would experience relief from that oppression. What if David had not practiced playing the harp? What if he was just an okay harp player? He was recommended because he was skillful at what he did. We must become masters at our crafts. We must continue to develop and get better and better. Our quality of life will improve as we do.
