Do you like waiting? Alot of us don’t. We don’t want to wait at the doctor’s office. We don’t want to wait in line for coffee, or to get something to eat. However, if we are to experience God’s best, we must learn how to play the waiting game. We will play the waiting game for the rest of our lives. When we move prematurely, it can cost us a lot. Abraham and Sarah couldn’t wait on God and produced Ishmael. Saul couldn’t wait for Samuel and he sacrificed without him. That cost him dearly. Sometimes we don’t want to wait on God. We know that He is working behind the scenes, but it appears as if He is taking too long. Would you like to experience God’s best, wait on the Lord. Are you waiting for an answer to prayer? Wait on the Lord. Waiting is good for us. It causes the fruit of the spirit to kick in. God may not move when you want Him to, but He is always on time. Don’t force the process, allow the process to do its job. Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, wait I say on the Lord.
