Jesus had preached in His hometown, and the people did not receive Him. He was unable to do any mighty works there because of their unbelief. The power was available, but their unbelief kept them from receiving and benefiting from that power. In order for us to receive from God, we must receive by faith. Faith connects us to the power of God. God is not keeping anything good from us. Many times, we are hindering the power of God from flowing in our lives. If we will simply believe God’s Word and act like His Word is true, we will see more of His power in our lives. God loves us and desires to do more for us. Let’s not forget that His eyes are going throughout the earth, looking to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). What will He find when He looks at you?
