Do you ever feel like the Lord is far away? Psalm 145:18 reassures us that He certainly is not, no matter what may tell us otherwise. At times in our lives, we may fail to call upon Him or ask for help due to pride, fear, or confusion, but our only response to a scripture like this should be gladness! We should be GLAD that He has promised to be near to us, be GLAD that He will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
