Would you like to be considered wise? Then you must do what the wise do. The text tells us that the wise will hear and increase learning. God does not expect us to stay the same. He wants us to grow and become more than what we currently are. Every day, every month, every year, we should be getting better and better. We should be learning more. A wealthy businessperson once stated that if you want to be successful, you should read 500 pages a day. We know that this blanket statement is not for everyone, but what we can learn from that statement is that we should take the time to read and study every day. We should be growing and improving in our intelligence. We should be growing spiritually; and our health should be improving as well. We want to also acquire skill and heed sound, godly counsel. If we do these things, we can be certain that our lives will improve, and we will go from glory to glory.
