đź“– Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was still good, and his body was strong. ⎯Deuteronomy 3:7 Contemporary English Bible

As we get older, we can still be healthy and strong. The world has sold us on the idea that as we get older, our bodies are supposed to deteriorate, and our health is supposed to decline. The world has given us the idea that we must be sick to die. They will even tell you that “everyone has to die of something.” Moses’ body was still strong at the age of 120, and his eyesight was still good. Caleb was 85 when he told Joshua that he was just as strong as he was forty years earlier. The Bible tells us that “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.” We must renew our minds to the Word of God. We can live long, and we can live strong. With long life God will satisfy us and show us His salvation. (Psalm 91:16).
