There is nothing in this world worth going to hell for. Nothing. Money isn’t worth it. Another person isn’t worth it. A better job. A better vehicle—none of these things are worth missing Heaven over. Jesus said in our text that if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. If your hand is causing you to sin, cut it off. Now Jesus isn’t telling us to literally cut out our eyes or cut off our hands. He is simply making a point not to let anything cause you to miss Heaven. The things of this earth are temporary. Eternity is forever. Don’t miss Heaven!
