đź“– As iron sharpens iron; so, a man sharpens the countenance of his friend  â€”Proverbs 27:17 NKJV

It isn’t good for us to be alone. We were created to have relationships and friendships and to interact with each other. God uses our relationships to improve and make each other better. Dogs have been called man’s best friend, but that isn’t totally accurate. You can’t have a conversation with a dog. You can’t give advice to a dog, and it cannot give you advice either. The same goes for any animal. God wants us to interact with each other. Our interactions with others can open doors. It can cause us to become wiser and better in our respective fields. Having relationships can cause us to have experiences that we would otherwise not have if we were by ourselves. Of course, we understand we can’t be friends with everyone, but we can engage in friendships that will contribute to our overall well-being. We may not be friends with everyone, but we can always give a kind word. We can always give an encouraging word. We can be a positive influence in another person’s life. We can make an impact on the world, and we can do it one interaction at a time.
