When we stay connected to God, following and remaining committed to Christ, we experience inner peace. While Jesus could have been boastful and harsh because of all His mighty exploits, He chose instead to walk in humility and to deal gently with our hearts. God will renew and refresh our souls, if we’ll allow Him to transform us from the inside out and provide us with the peace that only He can provide (John 14:27). Rest IN Him.
