God does not want us to be in the same place for the rest of our lives. He expects us to go from glory to glory. We can expect to make progress in our lives when we follow His advice. We can expect progress when we are doers of the Word and not hearers only. God will instruct and guide us along the best path when we make ourselves available to Him. We can hear Him better when we make time for Him. God desires to fellowship and commune with us. It is during those times that He can reveal His plans for our lives. His plans for us are always good because He is a good God. Our lives can go in the wrong direction when we seek our own way instead of seeking His. Our desire should be God’s best, and we can truly experience this as we allow Him to lead and guide us in the way that we should go.
