📖 It happened after these things that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, at the age of a hundred and ten years.

They buried him in the territory of his inheritance in Timnath-serah, which is in the hill country of Ephraim, on the north side of Mount Gaash.
—Joshua 24:29-30 AMPC

Joshua died after living a long life. Not only did he enjoy a long life, but he also received his inheritance. Remember that Joshua was one of the twelve spies who spied out the land. Ten of the twelve brought an evil report, but Joshua brought back a good report. He and Caleb believed that they could take the land and walk in the inheritance that God had for them. Both walked in what God preordained for them to. They held fast to their confession of faith and received it after standing for over forty years. We can walk in all that God has for us if we will do the same. We must believe the Word of God and stand on it. We must also hold on to the Word until we attain what He has promised, regardless of how long it takes. God is not a man that He should lie. If we stand, He will come through. He always does.
