📖 Those who trust in the Lord are steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance. ⎯Psalm 125: 1 The Living Bible
Believers are peculiar people. We are not to be moved by natural circumstances. We are to keep our eyes on the Word of God. The things we see are temporary, and they are subject to change. Every challenge, every obstacle, every attack of the enemy is subject to change. The Bible tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Psalm 126:5-6 tells us that, “they that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him”. There may be tears today, but joy will eventually replace it. You may bring your seed in tears, but you will be rejoicing with the harvest. No matter what the circumstance may be in the natural, we know that it is subject to the Word of God. We are steady and immovable because we know that God is watching over His Word to perform it. We know it is impossible for Him to lie.
