Deep valleys of sickness, relationship traumas, or life pressures, may be casting the shadow of death in your mind right now. Have no fear, the Shepherd is near! Consider the words of our Shepherd to Israel in Isaiah 43:1-2 NKJV. As the spiritual seed of Abraham by faith in Jesus, receive that promise… put your name in it, 1But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Whatever you are facing, you are not alone! The Shepherd is never going to leave you! If the issue looming over you was caused by your own choices, the Shepherd’s rod is right now tapping you back onto the right path. If the shadow of death appeared as you went into the valley because of the influence of others, the Shepherd’s staff is pulling you up and out of harm’s way. Repent and receive the comfort of your Shepherd. Remember, the valley only contains the shadow of death! The Shepherd has a heart for YOU! Today, choose faith over fear because the Shepherd is near!
