📖 “Now you [collectively] are Christ’s body and [individually] you are members of it, each part severally and distinct [each with his own place and function]." -I Corinthians 12:27 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

When we make Jesus the Lord of our lives, we become part of the Body of Christ. We function both collectively and individually within the Body and every part is important. Every function is important. Just like in the human body every part is important, the same is true when it comes to the Body of Christ. For us to thrive in our personal lives, we must function in the place that God would have for us to be. We must be doing what God has called us to do. When we individually are functioning in the right place, the overall Body of Christ thrives because we are all operating in our place. We must seek the Spirit of God and receive His direction and His guidance concerning our place. One part isn’t more important than another. We must strive to get where He wants so that we can make an even bigger impact on our world. We must continue to take ground for the kingdom of God.
