🤔 Take a moment to pause and reflect on the mercy of God this morning. His mercies are indeed new EVERY morning, but He clearly demonstrated it through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. It’s nothing that we did in and of ourselves, but through our salvation in Jesus, we have been justified in God’s eyes. Not only do we have the gift of eternal life, but we have the benefit of having an actual relationship with Him and the privilege of receiving direction and comfort through the Holy Spirit on a daily basis.
🙌 God’s love for you is profound (John 15:13), and He desires for you to live victoriously in life. Just trust Him for direction and favor and be sure to give Him the glory every step of the way.

🙌 Take comfort today remembering that no matter what you're going through - good or bad - you can lift your head up and REJOICE in the fact that the Creator of the universe is on YOUR side. He is your protection. He delights in "covering" you both physically and spiritually. REST and take refuge in Him (emotionally, physically, spiritually). He's got you!

David (the psalmist speaking in this psalm) was convinced that the Lord desires to lead His children every step of the way in our personal lives. Shepherds LEAD their flock every step of the way. The Good Shepherd LEADS us beside peaceful streams (He doesn’t want us anxious or to fret about anything; He wants us to rest IN Him. Philippians 4:6). He GUIDES you and directs your steps to walk in the will and purpose that He desires for your life (Psalm 37:23). Even when we may find ourselves going through tough times or in the presence of company that is ill willed against us, our Good Shepherd gives us perfect peace and never leaves our side (John 14:27)!
Allow Him to lead you, trust His guidance and accept His peace today. #RestINHim

💯 You belong to God if you were born again into His family. He treasures you and has deemed you royalty, so hold your head up king/queen (Psalm 3:3; Proverbs 27:6)! If you were not “fit” for royalty, then God wouldn’t have proclaimed you to be “His people”; He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19).
🙌 God not only cares about our hearts, but He cares about our countenance. Does your life and mouth testify of the goodness of God? He cares about how we represent Him, as His “chosen” people, both in deed and in conversation. Who you identify with will eventually influence your decisions and how you live. May we accept and rest IN His love for us today and may He help us today to properly represent Him today both in word and deed.

❤️ Our love walk is one of the distinguishing factors of Christianity. In fact, God’s Word reveals to us that if we aren’t walking in love with others, then we aren’t truly familiar with God or His ways. It’s important that we ask God for help in this area so that we can become more like Him and so we can properly represent Him on earth. When we walk in love and in obedience, we also properly position ourselves for God to move on our behalf. He will give you the help you need and create a new heart inside of you (Psalm 51:10). He LOVES you like no one else!

🤔 Have you allowed the cares of this world to rob you of your peace of mind? Regardless of your present circumstance, never forget that God’s peace transcends all understanding (John 14:27). It is unbothered by the circumstances of life. So, keep your mind focused on things that honor your Heavenly Father and be sure to confess today: "I have the mind of Christ! His priorities are my priorities. My future is safe in Him." You can rest and put your confidence in Him. Have a wonderful Saturday!

🤔 If we evaluated the words that come out of our mouths on a daily basis, we may be surprised about how many things that we’ve actually spoken into existence over time. Have the words of your mouth been properly aligning with what God says about the situation or by what your emotions and other people have dictated to you? As children of God and His ambassadors, we should desire to please Him in everything that we do (Psalm 19:4, Proverbs 10:32). Our words and our faith literally frame our world. So, pause and think today before you speak over yourself, others or any circumstance. Prayerfully, our words are faith-filled and our speech glorifies our Father, thereby curating a life and platform to bring Him glory. Have a blessed Friday!

We may be able to fool others for a period of time, but eventually, what’s inside will eventually come out - good or bad - because our words are indicative of the true condition of our heart. Thoughts will become words and then words eventually translate into actions, so be careful about the type of treasure you allow to be stored in your heart. Only you have the authority to determine whether the conversations you’re a part of, the music or shows you watch, the material you read
🙌 Create in me a clean heart God (Psalm 51:10) so that my words do not deceive or misrepresent You as I am your child. I desire for the treasure in my heart to honor you so that my thoughts are good, lovely and pure (Philippians 4:8), God please give me wisdom and discernment on what I’m exposing myself to daily. Thank you Lord for your love and grace to send the Holy Spirit as my Helper so that I may honor you in word and deed. Amen.
🤔 God was already aware of your arrival and the thought of you even then brought Him joy (v.17)! God, your Creator (Inventor) has created you for His own unique purpose and plans, so don’t grow weary of taking the time to review His Instruction Manual for your operation (assignment) here on earth.
🙌 The Holy Spirit will help bring understanding and revelation on the application of those instructions He’s given and how they apply to your life. There is literally no one else on this earth that has been equipped with the same gifts, talents, personalities, etc. that you have been, so thank God for the portion He has entrusted to you. Selah and smile…you are loved and one-of-a-kind!

Slow to speak...quick to hear. It's so much easier said than done sometimes, right? Well God wants to lead your life, and one of the ways we allow Him to do just that is to entrust our mind and emotions do Him as well by letting Him take the lead.
Our emotions or even pride sometimes can influence us to speak when we should be listening and to miss out on key information because we think we've got the situation all figured out in our minds. Practice praying in tongues today and making a conscious effort to follow this command. It will curate the opportunity for God to speak wisdom to your spirit in different areas before you open your mouth. It may also save you embarrassment, time and resources. God thank you for loving us and thank you for putting a watch over our mouths today (Psalm 141:3) in Jesus name. Amen. Have a blessed day today!

🙌 It’s comforting to know that our Heavenly Father always finishes what He starts. From the beginning of time, He has held the same reputation, and it will never change (Hebrews 13:8).
Check the first few chapters of Genesis. Even during creation, He completed what He started. He did not rest until it was all done (Genesis 2:2). Jesus didn’t come to us in the form of man, live 30+ years and then decide to abandon the assignment in the Garden of Gethsemane right before His prophesied crucifixion. God didn’t bring the Isrealites half-way out of Egypt or through the Red Sea. He brought them all the way out, vanquishing their enemy in the process…and, He’ll do the same for you. He will not abandon you, and everything that He has begun in you, He will complete it, IF you stick with Him.
The purpose and plans that He’s given you are unique, and it’s desire to perfect those areas that concern you and use you for His glory. So, don’t give up. He hasn’t given up on you. Be encouraged and have a blessed day!
“Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:13 AMP
God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Take the time daily to pray in the spirit to stir up your spirit man. Seek God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Only Jesus can quench our soul’s thirst. #soulsthirst #mattersoftheheart #dailydevotional #vcccharlotte #iamvictory
☀️ Rise and shine! You have the privilege of being an ambassador of the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords. You’re a representative of Jesus Christ! Most country’s ambassadors are entrusted with the responsibility of representing and communicating the interest of their home country while residing in a foreign land. In a similar fashion, we as believers are aliens, strangers in this world. The world’s customs and priorities are foreign to us. Furthermore, we are just “passing through” for a temporary assignment on earth and while we are here, God encourages us to not be conformed to the world (Romans 12:2). Though we physically reside in the world, our citizenship papers are in Heaven (Philippians 3:20).
🙌It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day circumstances of life, but it’s important that we not loose site of the mission that we are on as sons and daughters of God. Never forget that one key way to stay “in tune” with your heavenly homeland and to make sure you are fulfilling the assignment of the King of that land is to regularly pray in tongues. We get direction, wisdom, power and insight that others aren’t privy to. Remember, we are “living epistles” (communicators) of God’s ability! Embrace the assignment and expect Him to move on your behalf!
📖 "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." -Romans 12:1-2, NLT
🙌 There is healing and breakthrough in your worship whether on your knees or through your daily walk with God. Allow God to transform you and your mind daily so that you will understand what His will is for your life. Trust and find comfort in the fact that He knows best for you.

📖 Salvation and our relationship with Christ, as a whole, should not be a stagnant one. Continue to grow, learn and study the things of God, so that you develop spiritually everyday. Pray in tongues regularly so that the Holy Spirit - your Teacher - can instruct you and give wisdom and guidance where needed. What a merciful Father we serve! He wasn’t just interested in “saving” us, but after He did, He cared enough for us to perfect those things that concern us and use us for His will (Psalm 138:8)!
🙌 God please continue to work in and through us for your good pleasure and purpose. Thank you for the pleasure and privilege of being fit for your use, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
